Laxman

He is the only batsman in Indian team who plays for the team and not for himself or for records. Team India feels secured when he is yet to come to crease in the inning. He single handedly took Indian team to victory by playing majestic innings when India needed it badly. I rank him at par with Sachin & Dravid.

Sehwag

I think Sehwag also better plan for retirement early. No one gives 2-3 chances in every test to enable him to score 50s and 100s. He has become lazy and lethargic while batting. Now his pads play more than his bat. He never looks like a good cricketer as he was. We have youngsters like Rahane and Unmukt Chand ready to succeed him.

as long as lappebaj sehwag can score a 50 or 100 once every 10 tests or so then idiotic indian fans will want him in the team branding him the greatest match winner...

8781 runs with 17 Test centuries in his career. so just 1220 runs awway from 10000 runs milestone. he shudnt think of retirement!
records r more important. even vishwanath wasnt retiring for his milestone,

Agree that he shouldn't retire. My reason is that he is needed to school an young guy like Pujara under foreign conditions like when India plays SA in November.

Play is always at his will. Who are the beggers to ask some one retire from the cricket whom he has sacrificed his entire life

Never retire
