The worst Indian player was Jadeja who did not play a game in IPL. Malinga, Jayawardhane, Sangakara, Tait, Nannes, KP etc all played in IPL and probably partied. I think IPL is a good breeding ground for domestic cricketers. The only thing is that they should also invest heavily in the cricketing infrastructure.
Its all about money. Money decides the level of interest. As for the patriotic zeal exhibited by players of yesteryears thats all history. Remember we are into Kalyyug!. Let's face it. Our boys looked like toddlers on the cricket field......The enigmatic short rising delivery. IPL should not be criticized...rather used as a tool to selet talent ......... and effectively reduce the shelf life of the rotting obese ones. However, in India even thats a remote possibility with so much of politics, regionalism and Baniyas Controlling Cricket India (BCCI). And the media!. One day they put u on a pedestal so high ...and the very next they drop u like hot potatoes. The media is one unfaithful bedfellow. It is no longer YELLOW journalism....it is of a much more sinister hue...probably GREY...or even BLACK
For the betterment of cricket, expel bollywood sh*t thing from Cricket.
Cricketers like Yuvi, bajji are disgrace for Indian cricket. These guys are very much attached to bollywood rather than cricket. Better they can chance the profession and join Bolly.

BCCI should invest the money(earned from IPL) in preparing sporting wickets at the Ranji level. And prepare CRICKET CALENDAR in such a way Aussies does. BCCI should cut the matches in Half or less(90 ) in next IPL.
BCCI should learn to know bowlers win matches, not just batsmen alone, and maintain pool of both fast and spin bowlers. Look beyond Zaheer, Nehra and Bhajji.
Come on Gavaskar.... Give them a break... They have been playing cricket continuously. They are also humans after all. Wat dhoni told is in a diplomatic way. I am also a sportsman... ' bullshit"....being an international cricketr means entire year of cricket...no excuses....ask rahul dravid, u will get a nice answer....kept wickets for 50 overs that too being a nonwicketkeeper for his ranji team, played at no.3 spot both in test n 1 dayers, played long inninges each n every test n 1 dayers....the most over used player till to day in indian cricket...yet...never uttered a single word of "tiredness"...c'mon, being a sportsperson this is not the kind of comment that's expected....it's "latenight parties" undoutedly, responsible for this pathatic show....captain is the main responsible, then the concerned players....b'cause he is in charge of the team in the middle...

Australians play more cricket then we do. Even to the extent that they play in their local tournaments as wel, unlike our star players...
Jadeja didn't play cricket for two months, and you know how well he performed..
