Its not everybodys cup of tea to play quick bowling.Gujaratis and punjabis are good in business,madrasis are good in mathematics ,UP Biharis are good in politics so they produced 8 prime ministers and marathis are good in cricket.So leave cricket to gavasker,tendulker,manjrekar,vengsarkers,solker,patil,sardesai,wadekar.After all Mumbai has won Ranji trophy some 39 times.Rest should play gulli danda.

Gavasker and Shastri on IPL Governing committee why they have not object Schedule of IPL.. Blame BCCI and selecters for this result.. do you think these cricketers are machine... greedy BCCI only instrusted in making Money How can these injured players perform in big stage.... 5 Days is overestimating them, try something like 5 mins, cos Indian cricketers have always had premature ejac problems, Hahahaha !
are our players are sulking and blaming IPL ... see all other players they got back their form after IPL ... grow up lads and accept defeat with grace and not with excuse ..
Aussie has their own T20 league like IPL, and most of the Aussies played IPL as well. And the same with England, they got county cricket, T20 league as well as they played in IPL. SriLanka and NewZeland players also have their own league and played in IPL as well..
Guess what, all those teams made it to Semi, then why not India? SA were blaming IPL that theire players didn't get enough chance to hon their T20 skill and that was part of the reason they lost. And we're blaming IPL for our failure when the players when they had plenty of opportunities in IPL to improve their T20 skill. Players around the world gettin better playing in IPL and..
The problem is with out players and not IPL.. Look at Yuvi for a change, working on building belly. How tactical our Captain was and how about the team selection?

Regret to share my painful views about our recent poor show in WC.
It seems clearly that mostly players are very much careless and with lack of determination. Initially everybody makes faithful statements but after getting such heavy amount these guys shows that they are bigger than GAME / Public / Nation.
These mostly players play only to stay in Game and for Ad. purposes. These players don't feel the need of Win for their Nation pride and public.
These win for their Welfare only.
These shows determination and carefulness ONLY during their INITIAL STAGE for reserving their Seat in the Team.
They must be punished if they shows carelessness during game and at public places.
These players don't play the game, these play with Nation's pride & Public feelings.
But let Dhoni captain for some more time as all are same. Give change to other players too.
We don't know when the team will take better shape for WC 2011.
The Indian cricket board or the team should not blame the IPl for poor performance. Intl. cricket for Indian tem is just a Part time job. The team earns sooooo much in Ads and other things, they hardly concentrate on the game. The cricket board should put a BAN on doing any ads for the players in the Intl and Domestic players, till they retire. The team will definately perform seriously.
Yes IPL cannot be an excuse . See the performance of KP , Hussey , Nanes etc. They also participated in IPL . Our players have got enough more than they could expect . That is the real problem .
when people make money from one source they will definitely not find fault with it.our players and commentators like sunil gavaskar get paid fabulously by ipl so why should they find fault with ipl.basically our players were found wanting inall departments and we did not have a winning combination.we lacked killer instinct and ipl made things worse for the boys.it was the same case last year too where the team failed miserably.the board should go into all aspects and choose a good team that plays for the country and not a scratch team of ipl players cos ipl is not an international standard game.its hightime bcci focuses on cricket for the country keeping aside its money spinnig agenda secondary if not in due course cricket will also go the hockey way which will be sad for te supporters.will our adminstrators wake up to the stark reality.
