IPL is Main Villain

IPL is not responsible for poor perfrmance by India in T20 World cup is opinion of those who are making money trhrough it.Likes of Gavaskar,Shastri and Srikant will not support it because otherwise how they will earn crores through commentry.
Shehwag did no play in last 2 world cups all due to IPL.Whole temeam was so exausted after IPL that they just had no strength or will to perform.See the level of efforts put by Austarlians,England and even WestIndies.

ACHINTA ROY

First let the legend justify, how he scored 36 runs in 60 overs. What scale did he set for himself that day?

Hey Roy, get off it. What you will harp on this for the next million years I suppose. U are talking like the Aussies. Sunny never claimed that he is very good in 50 or 60 over matches. He actually said that he tried very hard to get out but the English kept on dropping him. And now what has that to do with the performance of the current team? If you want to criticise some one be objective. Talking about some thing that happened in 1979, that is very silly. What say?

Learning wrong lessons
by Sanjeev on May 15, 2010 10:57 AM

We seem to be having the habit of picking wrong problems in the witch hunting. Everyone is questioning why did we not pick up utthappa, and dhawan and ashwin and all that. The problem is not the talent. The problem is "Will to dominate". There are very few players in current indian outfit who have the will t dominate .... assured berths for half the side means they will never have a will to dominate
Indians did well in the past in flashes, bcos they had hunger and something to prove (1983 world cup, 2007 T20 worldcup, recent series wins by new team). Even at individual level "will to dominater" has always made the difference (yuvraj's 6 sixes, Sachin's match winners in 2003, Dhoni's batting). But the hungry men 2 years ago have become satiated now (Yuvraj, Gambhir, Rohit, Pathan, Zaheer).... and none of them will get India any victories unless they re-discover their hunger (as Sachin and Sehwag did ... Dhoni and Kapil did)
Having 5-6 guys in team who are willing to kick the oppoenent's "but" will take you to next level. Thats what has kept australia at top, thats what kep Pakistan in the hunt yesterday ... and thats what we need to find in our players if we are fancying any chances for world cup in 2011

Gavaskar use to get `2000 dollars to do commentary in ICC tournaments. because of IPL, he is getting money from BCCI and IPL commentary. also getting money from BCCI for administration. money rules, lets make BCCI a governing body
