Because most autralian batsmen are uncomfotable with spin. In India (or subcontinent) Yuvi, Sehwag and Raina also can cause problems for any batting lineup forget top spinners. And after the debackle in CT, Indian management would go for spin friendly wickets. But this policy is harmful for our team in the long run and in broader sense.

Yeah, dusty, rusty, rubbish pitches where ball doesn't bounce more than 1 foot...Ample grounds for some junky, pitches for big blowing trumpet guys of Indian Team.
He was just a bang bang T20 player a year ago and now he is about to be a regular opener for Aus ODI side and surely he will get place in Test team too. Great thing with Australia is they nurture allrounders. They give them time and no rapid fire and hire policy.
