lesson from watson..
by Dhantannan on Oct 06, 2009 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

it is better to fail in inconsequential matches..
reserve your best for semis and finals of CT/WC.
our cricketers do otheriwse.
they showcase best for compaq cups
eg. bhajji and sachin only to fail later...

Aussies are consistent peformer
by hiral joshi on Oct 06, 2009 10:29 AM

And therefore they take each and every match seriously and tournament finals as well. But today's Aussie side is not invincible, the reason is their batting lineup. Batting depth is not like past. They dont have great opening pair either but surprisingly their bowling attack has improved bound and leaps in just a year after Lee back into form. A year ago Aussies were struggling with their bowling and had only Jhonson in form. In the Ashes series their bowling revived and in Champions trophy some batsmen too found the form.

Rain spoilt india chance of winning CT
by man on Oct 06, 2009 10:29 AM  | Hide replies

If there was no rain during India Aus match ,then India would have comfortably won that match and enter Semis and Won the CT.

even if we had won against aussie, we would have lost semis or finals due to bad bowling an lack of batting strength.

Bad idea. We should alter our plans instead of blaming rain.. :)

We should win all our matches like the Australians did. :)

Chatterjee:

Let me rephrase it for your benefit.

We should win all our "completed" matches like the Australians did..

Happy now?.... :)

Or do you want us to continue with Man's plan of losing the first match?... :)

Team India Beware
by RSS on Oct 06, 2009 10:27 AM  | Hide replies

If India Prepare Pitches like The Bouncy Wicket in Nagpur (Done for 2004 Border Gavaskar Trophy) vs Australia, then they will be thrashed at home 7-0.

If they prepare Flat Batting Pitches, which Assist Spinners Later in the 2nd Innings, then India can win.

Learn A LESSON - TEAM INDIA !!!
by unknown on Oct 06, 2009 10:25 AM  | Hide replies

You guys (Dhoni, Amit...) don't giv different excuses for the early exit from CT. There is no need you (Team India) to do any justice with your failure in CT becoz though we are cricket fans and might be do not understand cricket tactics so well and deeply like you grate players (Dhoni, Amit etc..) do but at least we (cricket fans) are not blind and can understand the reality with seeing the Australian team winning/performing like a champion (though they are not still the same team as they were earlier) against the same opponents and in same conditions.

You (Dhoni, Amit...) guys give excuses like some bowling errors, few things went wrong or it was a bad day and blah blah blah...

But the fact is that you (Team India) guys have never that hunger to win, dominance power, passion of wiining for the country and sport, which Austallians ever show in their cricket. And thats why they are not only today defended their title but also proving that they are the real champs of two top and best format of cricket game which is Test Cricket and ODI. And for your knowledge guys(Team India) T-20 is never real cricket (cricket skill), where you (team india) say yourself champion. T-20 is a format where any team can win more with luck and by just going one trick in favour, its never a game of skills. ODI and Test are real cricket where you don't need more luck or one trick to win. You need skills, temprament and performance to win.
