India always have problem playing with Pak outside India. Unfortunateloy we were clubed with Pak in the preliminary round.
Also rain god came to the rescue of Aus.
Plus, as Dhoni correctly said, we did not have some good allrounders.

@cool dude, still aussies won the CT... surely these two teams can't beat zimbabwe... and that means other 6 teams r so poor that even they cant beat bermuda

abey dhakkan dude....appreciate if AUS has won the cup...although I don't like AUS either but we need think rationally and judge the efforts keeping the personal griefs beside..
why ricky ponting is not able to score runs in crucial stages like finals. He can not lead the side by example and causes premature termination of gilchrist warne mcgrath career. This will remain the difference between sachin and ponting. sachin always scoring runs in finals and cruicial stages

Atleast u have the guts to admit the truth,unlike whiners like Gavaskar who know only to see the incidents like Aussies pushing Sharad Pawar when they been winning tournament after tournament unlike us we win once in blue moon..
AUS Won 4 wcups 2 Champs Trophy So many series in the last 2 decades that the only thing people can complain about them is sledging,when it is done by all teams,infact AUS havent been doing it that much these days

you are kidding right...Ponting is the one who plays in big matches. Sachin is nowhere in tat comparison.

Yea, which is evident by Ponting average of 38.42 in Tournamnet Finals compared to Sachin's 56 (approx).

You must be on dope dude.. I hate Ponting to the core but still this is utter nonsense what you just said.. It hurts me to say this but I think Ponting is one of the best big match players in cricket right now.. KP comes a close second.. This finals failure by Ponting is very rare to see.. so enjoy the moment :-)
