Always The God of cricket
by munna jena on Nov 14, 2009 10:28 PM

No player in this preset time in the cricket world can compare to sachin ,he is a genius, and the greatest player of the cricket world, even ricky ponting cant compare with him, look at the mountain of runs he has in both one day n test format.look at his dedication and enjoyment towards cricket even presnet time ,he is a true champion, gretest players never compare with how many times his team won ,bcoz its a team game not an individual,he is also a true patriotic , he has also the most no of runs in world cup then the others,he is champ and we r proud of him,we love u sir ,gud luck

I think the media has no work except praising Sachin, who has not done anything great, except increasing his bank balance and assets !!!

:) Good to see that in India you can increase bank balance and assets without doing anything great. :)

Why don't you do it too? Then we will praise you too. :)

Just Imagine
by halwa singh on Nov 14, 2009 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

Looking at Sachin's popularity one just shudders to imagine about his popularity if he was a matchwinner. Just imagine how popular he would have been if he had been a matchwinner like Viv Richards, Rahul Dravid or Viru Sehwag.

Who said Dravid & Sehwag are match winners ?? they have not even won 50% of matches for india as compared to Sachin & during Vivs era, there not much of ODI's played, get ur stats correct.

what do u mean by a matchwinner....if he scores 175 and ten other batsman fails to score the remaning 175 then should we blame Sachin....MAN please go through his contributions to the game and winning a game is responsibility of all 11 players not sachin, sehwag or viv richards.....it is contirbution to the match which varies match to match.....

let 175 get fked... even if he scores 75 and wins a match then he can be called a match winner...

thing with sachin is... people say sachin doesn't win india close matches... but the fact remains that when sachin plays well... its no more a close match, india wins comfortably... and only when he gets out... match becomes close and india looses...

For all his greatness Sachin has not been able to win matches for India all these years. Recently though he is making a conscious effort to right this wrong. Better late than never.

Mr halwa....cricket is not halwa....which can be played alone, win alone and lose alone.....its a team game.....but never forget his contributions when Sachin played well in 2003 world cup India reached final...and when he got out India lost in Final...neither Ganguly, Sehwag, Dravid or anybody else could win the match for India....so shame!!!

Ponting a better big match player in ODIs.
by Dennis Christie on Nov 14, 2009 10:12 PM  | Hide replies

Will prefer to meet Ponting than Sachin, Ponting is a big match player with 3 WCs and 2 Champions trophy under his belt and with key performances in these finals. Sachin, WC runnners up in 2003 in 5 WCs and 2002 Jt. Champions in Champions trophy with sri lanka, is way behind in spite of having a great team around him.
Sachin may u win at Mumbai in 2011.
