It is strange to see that IPL (Indian Premier League in Cricket) is moving out of the country due to its clash on dates with General Election in India and consequent problem of the Government to provide adequate security to the 20X20 matches. Why is it so?
India, as such, has no threat of terrorist from within, unlike Pakistan, Sir Lanka and Bangladesh...neighbouring countries. But, after the 26/11 incident of terrorist attack in Mumbai from perpetrators across the border, we have to cautious as it is an eye opener. That followed recent attack on Sri Lankan cricketers in Pakistan. So, none should take it lying low or overlook the risk perception, not to organize adequate security measure. It is certainly justified that Central Election is of much importance for the country than IPL, which is a money making game for BCCI, Franchisees, Players, Media and all connected, at the cost of public at large. Love for quick buck is more than the love for the game and that for the country as it is easily noticed and hence should be underscored.
I personally think, it is not necessary to hold IPL cricket matches this year out of the country, since too many cricket matches are going around and also ICC 20X20 World Cup contest is round the corner. There should be enough discretion to appreciate the reason and act in the interest of the of the country and its people rather than pampering ego, showing power and the greed for quick buck ! Do we sacrifice our National Pride ?
India is when elections are there big money flows. History sheeters file nominations. They try to devide country on religion,Cast,language etc. Then horse trading comes, Then some puppet prime ministers.
India is run by 10 -15 % people work and do not get noticed at all. rest enjoy their jobs literally.
Let IPL a pure joy which does not devide nation be run properly. If IPL is all about money and sports.
Then elections is money power and crime. What say guyz?....

Why Congress Chiddu did not want IPL in election season?
1) Nobody will attend rallies 2) Nobody listen to their boaring speeches. 3) Journos will go to matches 4) Nobody will see leaders faces on TV. 5) So less exposure.
and last cricket (IPL) unites India whereas these leaders devide India.
And at a venue a single day match and election may collide that could have been avoided.They could not have been played on voting day there. Why no matches on entire period?
See all this excuses are bullshit,why the IPL is not postponing,they can easly postpone for one month.why the hurry.....or else let them approch other states for the venue.....comon.. this is india yaaaar....

There is also the fact that ICC has given them a small window after which the international players won't be able to perform.

they r more concerned abt the money alone and not indias pride.. when india adviced not to go to pakistan we all agreed and the same time when we said it is not possible to provide ADEQUATE SECURITY TO PLAYERS AND THE TOURNAMENT AT THE TIME OF ELECTION they doesn't listen...
This is a waste of money of India in foreign countries, earlier also by buying these ANGREZ they have wasted so much money and where will this all money will go, this will go either to the team owners and rest to these Angrej sponsers- JAAGO INDIA JAAGO - BOYCOTT IPL

Its simply a coward nation, because of coward Govt. One cannot fight with a small peice of country, who is killing our countrymen, since years. Govt can't give protection. Shame on the Govt we have in power. If Mulayam/Mayawati/Jayalalita/Lalu/Badal/Chautala, combine their Bank balances, the war will not need any extra funds. There will be no effect on Indian economy. Them money will be well utilized.you can see police at every red light, taking bribes, what are they paid for. Its not only them, we have so many other forces. If Govt can't provide security to citizens, what they are doing at top. Lets replace them and try if the other Govt can do something.

just imagine a single unwanted incident in thw whole tournament, what kind of pressure our own country army and other forces would have undergone...
its not that we cannot provide but conducting election without any trouble is the most important to show the world what india is all about...
