t is shame to say that our country is a atomic country. Our country has so many sophisticated weapon besides atom bomb. But our govt is frightened by a bunch of terrorist. So I write this in shame that I am a citizen of indipendent country that I can't move freely in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Gowhati etc for election because our army or police unable to provide us security

Its simply a coward nation, because of coward Govt. One cannot fight with a small peice of country, who is killing our countrymen, since years. Govt can't give protection. Shame on the Govt we have in power. If Mulayam/Mayawati/Jayalalita/Lalu/Badal/Chautala, combine their Bank balances, the war will not need any extra funds. There will be no effect on Indian economy. Them money will be well utilized.you can see police at every red light, taking bribes, what are they paid for. Its not only them, we have so many other forces. If Govt can't provide security to citizens, what they are doing at top. Lets replace them and try if the other Govt can do something.

General Elections are far more important than IPL, but the question is not that,it is about security. It appears that our HM is incapable of heading that post. Like a schoolboy our HM says that he would not be able to provide security due to elections. The HM should apply all the resourses at his command and do all that is necessary to provide security for all events taking place in our country. He should have forethought about these events and done some recruitments and provided training. Everybody will have a dig at him for being unable to do his duty responsibly. So he will be making a fool of himself when he tries to avoid getting digs. The more he tries to protect what he does, the more he will get entraped into a mess. So buck up HM AND SIMPLY DO YOUR DUTY OR QUIT.

Why Congress Chiddu did not want IPL in election season?
1) Nobody will attend rallies 2) Nobody listen to their boaring speeches. 3) Journos will go to matches 4) Nobody will see leaders faces on TV. 5) So less exposure.
and last cricket (IPL) unites India whereas these leaders devide India.
And at a venue a single day match and election may collide that could have been avoided.They could not have been played on voting day there. Why no matches on entire period?

During election time it is impossible for the government to consentrate in IPLmatches, so it is better to be postponed.Mr.Lalit Modi should undrestand the circumstanses also election time all sort of foul play will be taking place and they should cooperate with the government decision. If any attack take place no use of blaming the authorities that time.

It is pure politics. When Sharad Pawar said that he could be a candidate for PM and Left parties supported the idea that they can support Pawar as PM if they are not able to win sufficient seats under Third front. In this case, they would support possible coalition which is headed by not Manmohan Singh, but Sharad Pawar. Then on, it was sure that Congress would reply back. Mr. Chidambardam has, thus said that the IPL would not be held along elections. Now, the main attaintion of Mr. Pawar is not his PM candidature but how to somehow get IPL matches played- India or abroad. It is really bad. Congress should be blamed for pity politics.
