Is BCCI sleeping ??
by Ramesh Dodani on Jun 12, 2009 10:35 PM

media should be ashamed for its role in unnessary problems

Who are they to demand answers from players
There is BCCI board / team coach
why no questions to them

Dhoni Decission
by Guest on Jun 11, 2009 01:50 PM

I agreed Dhoni's Justification. We need a proper protocol to reveal about the fitness. BCCI is only announcing the team structure not by Captain. So, only Board should announce the fitness and replacement of the player

media vs dhoni
by greatgreater on Jun 11, 2009 10:34 AM

media usually oversteps its periphery. it uses its power ofr destructive purpose. printing things that never happened usually attracts them. titles of news otems, if seen carefully, indicate the negative mentality of mediamen. they try to anger even cool headed people. remember media and Azharuddin! Dhoni must talk little to media and ignore their questions. what he needs to do is to perform on the field. he should say what he wants to say irrespective of what question media asks. silence should be his spear of attack on their liars who are worse than lawyers even. satya paul

Indian media lacks maturity
by Calspadeaspade on Jun 10, 2009 11:03 PM

That is what happens if you give freedom to those who do not know their responsibilty. Indian media should take some coaching from Brian Williams, lary King and Ted Kopel. They interview the toughest guys and see the way they conduct themselves with dignity. Indian media is trash. I is like giving power to low life scoundrel.

What the ruckus ?
by krishna v on Jun 10, 2009 02:37 PM  | Hide replies

Sehwag's injury, rift, etc. is all media orchestrated. In my view,Sehwag should have been dropped in the first place. He has a disaster called IPL.and replacing sehwag with rohit sharma is a brilliant move by Dhoni. Now that under his leadership, if india is moving away from being player centric to team centric what is the problem.who gives best should be in the team.no past performances,no statures maatter here.unfortuantely some people in media including past players dont like this India that Dhoni is building.and are influencing the media. a lot has been said about him coming at 1 down.if we can protect wickets from falling in middle overs in a heap, by playing a bit cautiously in the middle overs, whats the issue ? in all 2020 matches we have seen, quick wickets cost lot of damage, australia got knocked out just becuase of this.so playing cautiously that too an experienced player like dhoni is not a bad idea and moreover he can change gears anytime. We the people of india back you dhoni completely.do what you feel is best for the country, which you have been doing all the time.Thanks.

Dhoni said ''Get Lost'' to Shewag
by Amreesh Reddy on Jun 10, 2009 02:18 PM  | Hide replies

This is what must have happened between Dhoni and Shewag - Just my assumptions

Since Shewag is already injured so refused to come in Net for practice and said this
I will directly play against Bangladesh. I am already a famous and good player, so practice is not for me, you all go and practice.

But Dhoni is refused to accept this and said "You either come in the net to prove your fitness or Get LOST"

ve Points for Dhoni
saying Get Lost to Shewag is good

-ve points for Dhoni
The way he handled media is not so good

Dhoni is preparing an excuse
by Indian Saint on Jun 10, 2009 01:52 PM  | Hide replies

When India loses and exit T20WC, Dhoni has a great excuse. In the past he has blamed fielers, bowlers etc. Now, he can blame the media also.

Jaago Indian Media Jaago
by Thop Chaturvedi on Jun 10, 2009 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

think Indian Media needs a Jaago Re kind of campaign!

The Headlines Today reporter went crazy last night on live TV... he is reporting from England that Dhoni is behaving like a Dictator !!!!

These people use whatever words they like just for the sake of using them, and just because they have a mike. They have no watch dog mechanism and think they can blabber anything and everything.

HT is reporting this issue as if some national calamity has just happened... Shame on you...

Jaago Indian Media Jaago...

Controversies keep swirling around..players shud not take it seriously, instead focus on their job! MSD is the best captain we've seen til now and the media have gone to the extent that he is losing his cool head.Dhoni is on the right side and people should stop blaming him for stupid reasons. What has he got to do with sehwag's injury?? He is a captain and is doing his job perfectly..Dhoni we love you,,, whtever these ppl say..jus ignore them!!
