Oh yeah... and that will help the team to lose the World Cup as well as the coming up series against Windies as well. That's exactly what the media would need to get their business going.

Dhoni Ignore Seniors
by Harjeet Singh on Jun 10, 2009 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

Dear All,
Dhoni is the person who didnt want any senior person in team. He didnt have power to throw out our respected Sachin Tendulkar otherwise maybe he tried our best to keep out sachin out from national team also. He didnt like ganguly, he didnt like sachin and Sehvag now. Yuvi have more experience and most deserved play to be a captain of india.
ITS ALL BY LUCK OR U SAY THAT INDIAN TEAM IS BEST WHO WON EVERY TITLE AND GAMES FROM LAST 2-3 YEARS. DHONI IS NOT PLAY GOOD AS LIKE HE PLAY IN STARTING. MEANS HE SPENT MORE TIME TO MAKE PLANNING TO KEEP OUT HIS SENIOR OUT MORE THEN CRICKET. BUt he didnt know that when his luck time is out the BCCI also kick on his ASS same as like he do with his seniors.

Idiot...first of all look at your English....another thing is whats the use of keeping seniors and losing matches continuously...Under the captaincy of Dhoni India won World Cup.....and many series in other countries...Remember Luck may click only once or twice and not everytime....Before Dhoni came red tapism was existing in Indian team where so called under performing senior players were not ready to leave the seats voluntarily....also very few new players were getting chance to show there talent...but now there are many talented new players are coming up....and result is India is performing.....Dhoni is the best captain after Kapil Dev India has got....

hi mr,
U r wrong, there s no way to send sachin and shewag out of d team. all peoples and dhoni also know this very well OK. how u enjoyed by these time!!!! without dhoni...????? its not possible pa. indian team now-a-days winning all matches by good playing oly ah...??? no,,, then how they perform at ganguly's period???? that time also good performance done by all players.. so luck is very essential for match winnig.. after dhoni leading d team we won many matches.... its luck...!!! not for msd but for all. ok

It's very simple - we were instructed by our high command that's why. Besides that we also want to become rich so what if we were not funded to do things like these? Lolz.

Both Should Be Within Limits
by Ravi Om on Jun 10, 2009 10:50 AM

Both media and Dhoni should be cautious and remain within limits. At the outset media should stop digging graves atleast when such a tournament is on. And as for Dhoni, BCCI should dictate conditions to Dhoni and discourage his monarchy attitude. NOW THE COUNTRY WOULD KNOW WHAT HE REALLY DID TO PLAYERS LIKE SAURAV,DRAVID and KUMBLE. Dhoni really has the MIDAS TOUCH, once touched the player is set to roll out.

I saw the footage of his briefing to the media and it seems he is becoming arrogant. Whether it's money, fame or whatever.... but he is not the king, he never respected senior player except Tendulkar since Tendulkar is a legend and carry larger than life image. If I can recall a movie (don't know the name) starring Mithun Chakravorty it resemble perfectly with Dhoni. In the movie Mithun was a slave of Kadar Khan who was MLA, that seat got reserved and Kadar filed nomination for Mithun hoping that if though Mithun will win the ruler would be Kadar, and the best seen was when Mithun started taking lead during counting and he started showing his true colors by touching Kadar by his feet, smoking Kadar's ctgerrette etc. " Power or fame har kisi ko nahi pachti". This is what this arrogant "Dhoni" is doing. I can forsee his downfall and ultimate exit from team India in 1-2 years time.

If he was so arrogant by nature then it had to be seen in the field as well. As we all no Dhoni is a cool customer and never looses his temper whatever situation his team may be in. Its the Indian media's attitude which makes him arrogant. Remember Kapil Dev crying infront of media though we know about his charecter. The Indian Cricket Team is not an government enterprise and Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dravid, Gangulys time is over now. Remember Dhoni has brought T20 world cup in the absense of these players. Its in Dhoni's captaincy that we were able to win Test series in and One dayers in counties like new zealand, sri lanka, australia...
For Dhoni only winning matters may be in the absense of so called Legends. So cheers for Dhoni.

media deserves it...they r pointing their fingers at Dhoni and trying to divide the team, which is performing so well..
dhoni is absolutely right.

regd Dhoni's exit, if the media were to decide the team based on their tantrums, then sure, dhoni would have to go!

Dear Deep
I am not against Dhoni but his arrogance, ego etc. I am not believing what media is writing or saying about him. I am just writing my opinion which I formed after watching him addressing the media. BTW what is his contribution to teams success now a days :), he is forming his own group within the team which is not healthy for India

Sorry Mr Surendra...well you are not the boss and neither your opinion is worthy enough....Dhoni did the right things...Media should support him at this part of time ( i mean at this T20 worldcup ) not they have to discourage team by making noise anything else...Even Sunil gavaskar supported dhoni on this....i think now you should stop propagating your thoughts...well keep quiet...

I MAY BE WRONG BUT I FEEL THAT DHONI BECOMES EGOISTIC. NO DOUBT HE HAS EXCELLENT TEAM BUT IN T20 EVERYTHING COULD BE HAPPEN.THE REASON BEHIND MY OBSERVATION IS DUE TO FOLLOWING :
[A]- HE DIDN'T GO FOR RECEIVING PADMASHRI
[B]- HE DIDN'T TALK TO MEDIA IN NOTTINGHUM PRESS CONFERENCE
[C]- CLEARLY SHOWN BY HIS ATTITUDE

ITS GOOD BE CONFIDENT BUT NOT OVERCONFIDENT LIKE AUSSIES.

mujhe lagta hai ki media is playing dirty games by dividing the Indian team and plotting its downfall in the WC T20.

Regd Dhoni, there's only so much that a man can take, especially from a media, which is the least qualified for commenting on the game.

Regd Padmashri, that was a diff issue and Dhoni was wrong in that.
