Raman Shiva
Sunny the biggest Hypocrite of all time
by Raman Shiva on Jul 04, 2009 12:26 AM

All the advises he gives to youngsters and Dhoni is to be directed to Sachin, but he never did.

Sunny famously kept telling the world that Players should retire when asked why and why not, well if thats the case Sunny then how come you urge Sachin to play 2011 wcup, that too when India had lost 2007 cup the first thing comes out of ur mind is that and not for how for India to ever win a WCUP,its been 26 years, yea we won T20 WCUP,but we know what this T20 is really worth it

Sunny says Dhoni has curbed his style to last longer,oh really?then what about Sachin who hasnt played a aggressive match winning Innings in ODIS for god knows how long?Sachin for crying out loud never scored a 100 when he didnt open,so what does that show?Selfish play or slow play Sunny?

Sunny says Youngsters should refrain from playing IPL?then what about those who are already rich and have played almost 500 ODIS like Sachin?Isnt their body that needs rest so that they can focus on matches played for India? Is it only the Youngsters who have hardly made any money to not play IPL and the oldie who u want to last till 2011 WCUP should skip IPL?

Its a shame that this Hypocrite sits there and talks how about sports Aussies are when we know how bad he was when he was given out(rightly so if u see the videos)in Melbourne Test 1981...and who can forget his 36 runs of 60 overs in a WCUP match, thats right 60 overs and

Gavaskar a professional himself.....
by exotic on Jul 03, 2009 06:41 PM

Mr Gavaskar is writing more as a professional whose sole interest is to save the IPL ( because he has been paid heavily ).

This guy has always played for himself throughout his career. We have seen him so many times not declaring just to make his century ( even though it meant drawing a winnable game... ) .

So we must not take him seriously at all. He does not see any problem that the last match of the IPL was played only less than a week before the start of the World cup??? Amazing he does not care....

Jai Hind....

don't complaint
by Naveen V on Jul 03, 2009 04:54 PM

When a player say that he is tired of IPL, he don't deserve a place in the team. team can't afford to lose the match with unfit players.

so players have to realize that permanent place in team is more important than money and boycott overload like IPL,...

have enough rest and play well in international matches which is good for everyone.

Greedy Gavaskar
by charmaine lazarus on Jul 03, 2009 01:35 PM

Mr. Gavaskar is also a selfish person. His only interest is money. IPL has paid him or with the message that he has related above he wants to be in the good books of Mr. Modi, the IPL Chairman to make further cash. His selfish interest only relates to money and nothing else.

VERY FEW PEOPLE KNOW THAT WE HAVE WON THE 1975 WORLD CUP EVEN PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHO WAS THE CAPTAIN OF THE WORLD CUP WINNING TEAM IT IS ALL FAULT OF MEDIA. IN CRICKET EVEN CHILDREN IN AGE GROUP OF 5 OR 6 KNOW WHO WAS THE CAPTAIN 83 WORLD CUP

Have you understood my post? I am saying that its their personal decisions. There are so many people who disrespect even National Anthem, have you ever rasied voice against them? I am repeating here that I like them because of their play and I don't have nay intrest in what they do in their perosnal life. At the same time, I am not justifying that what they did with national award is wrong or right. We are here to discuss cricket & cricket players and not Dhoni & Harbhajan.

Mr. King,

Again you have come up with distorted logic. If I find someone disrespecting National Anthem, I will do so.
I am sorry to say but you do not understand the meaning of personal.
Attending or not attending the ceremony of national importance can not be include in things what one does in real life.
Anyway, it has not use talking with you such thing.

Just think why you want India to win?

Is it because Dobhi or because of India as whole?

Maybe then you will understand the importance of national awards?

Goodbye.

Doni & Yuvi should learn from Ronaldo
by muscular on Jul 03, 2009 12:46 PM  | Hide replies

Ronaldo is a big playboy than Dhoni & Yuvraj, but when he is on ground his only aim is 2 outdo the opposition. He used 2 play 3 matches every week for Manu but he never complained of fatigue. He performed in every match.

Ronald cannot be compared with Dhoni and Yuvi. Ronald is a professional player and he knows his capacity whereas Dhoni and Yuvi are just out for money they don't care for our country's prestige.

There is no comparision between Ronaldo and Dobhi. One is talented and skillful in his sport and people enjoy watching him play. On the other hand, Dhobi is an ordinary cricketer --hyped by media and a few of his fans-- and painful to watch him play cricket ( very ugly batsman and a bad keeper).

As for the UV, he is as talented and skillful as Ronaldo but lacks in temperament.

Yes. you can not compare Dhoni with Ronaldo. Let him spend as many years in cricket and then you will also call him legend. Just wait n watch you Dhoni bashers!

Ronaldo is younger than Dhobi. What do you mean by Let him spend as many years in cricket..

Many people predicted That SRT will be a legend when he was just 17 yrs old nad that prediction came true.

One can see wa true legend in his/her early days.

If you like Dobhi, it is fine. I do not like him because for I watch sports--football, cricket, Tennis etc because I want to watch talents and skills of the sportsmen. I do not like watching a sportsman who looks ugly in playing his sport.

Your are like ordinary cricketer turned commentators who call anyone legend.

There is no comparison between Hayden and Dobhi--did you see their performances in IPL. Hayden can still hit 6 and four.
Bye the way, Hayden is good cricketer but does not fall in the category of legend-because he was not good against quality fast bowling although he could murdered medium pacers.

OK. Even i like Dhoni for his onfield play and infact I find his way of playing shots unique & intresting. Its the question of individuals liking or disliking but for that you just can not write gainst his perosnal life.

Regarding Legend, just look at Mathew Hayden. In just 8 years of Cricket he has become legend. Hadf anybody predicted that he will become legend. And he is not only a legend but a treu match winner.
