Bill Clinton got Monica Lewinsky to suck his c--k! But do Americans even talk of this? Inspite of this, is Clinton still not one of the most respected figures in USA?
When it comes to Gavaskar, he has the same status in cricket that Bill Clinton has in US politics. Then why do we keep recalling that just one blemish on his career that happened some 35 years back????

Hey maan mind your language. Gavaskar is an alltime great, India's greatest batsman and one of the greatest opening batsman of all times. Dhoni has just started off his career.
It takes guts to have been an opener in an era when genuine fast bowlers used to constantly hurl throttling deliveries at 90-95 mph.
Gavaskar ke itne bure din nahi aaye hain ki usey Dhoni jaise bachche ke baare mein ulta seedha bolna pade

Don't abuse people just because you hate their mother tongue. Especially when that person is called Sunil Manohar Gavaskar. Gavaskar was a batsman, who shouldered the responsibility of the entire team and did it fabulously for close to 2 decades. Under his captaincy India won the 1985 Champions of Champions title. Besides, he hasn't said anything bad about Dhoni. Dhoni is a fantastic player, why would anyone have anything against him. Gavaskar has always been appreciative of Dhoni when in commentary.

Joker.. Its all selling the game at the end of the day.. why are you concerned about the mother tongue and other non sense.. cant you see what he is trying to see you... STUPID JOKERS like you make this game big.... bigger than the bulge...
Players from WI also played IPL but didn't get affected by it. It is not just the IPL but non-stop cricket which Indian team has played which has done it in.

Non stop advertisement, films, party, activities, is that what you mean?
Agreed we were outplayed and not only that even then we found out that some of our younger player are not good at playing the short ball. They have age at their hands so no worries they will learn. At least they have a future as they have an attitude to play for the country and not for records..we all know what players who had greatest of records did for their countries..players like ganguly, he still doesnt know how to play the short ball.Anyways,It is a known thing that gavaskar is bcci mouthpiece. So to give any importance to his words are almost giving importance to the bcci this power hungry money hungry body.its time government takes over bcci. They are destroying indian cricket by its money hungry attitudes by making players do donkey work.no wonder players get injured all the while.
Certainly IPL is one of the major contributors to the T20 WC debacle as the players were fatigued. Gavaskars and others have vested interests in IPL so will not admit it.
always, we have seen that whensomething goes well, all that is bad goes under the carpet. but, when there is failures as (India not qualifying for semifinals), there is something to blame to defend themselves. i wish, the indian captain and team must learn to take blame on themselves for their achievements and failures as well. afterall, when there is better options available to captain to have better players in the team, he MUST not bring his unneeded ego and bring the country down. professional players adjust to all conditions irrespective of all limitations. that seperates a quality player and not so good cricketer. salute to TENDULKAR for his overall approach, his own class and a pole star impact to make country proud.
