DRAVID IS MOSTED WANTED PLAYER FOR INDIAN CRICKET
by pranav on Aug 18, 2009 09:42 AM  | Hide replies

Donot compare Dravid to Sachin OR Sachin to Dravid. One is steel and another is concrete. The solidarity comes when two are there. But Mr Dhoni, he will not like both of them in the team. He always believes one has to be very young whether you score or not. He thinks he will not get aged.

hi all,
Don't go for research on dravid's inclusion. He may want the decent retirement from ODI. so he called back and he will announce ODI retirement at the end of the series.

Virat kohli is a disaster and only has style on field...have you seen his attitude?? he is nothing but a model types, who throws tantrums and style....he has been given chances in past, but he dint materilize those. Rohit is far better than Virat.

dravid is the best batsman that india ever had. to win matches you need the best players and not a hopeless physically young bunch. vengsarkar was a selector with myopic and regional perspective. thanks to the dynamic srikanth, we atleast have something to look forward to. if you say tendulkar is tendulkar, don't fail to realise that dravid is dravid and a cricketer par excellance. what is your crib about?

Thanks a lot for srikanth for selecting the wall.In both IPL he did exellant job for RCB that means the age is not the criteria for any game. The fitness & form & act according to the situation. All the best for rahul dravid.By rgk from RR nagar

i also agree with Jaya, vengsarkar also did a preety good job in his tenure, dont forget moron like chappel was removed in his tenure and picking karthik also was his decision in his early days. Raina was groomed in his time. Srikanth did a wonderful and very bold job to pick Dravid and i welcome his inclusion.

I have a completely different take on this, while i am confident that rahul will make good this opportunity, it provides millions of dravid- sachin fans to get glued to the TV set. Of late, i had noticed my own disinterest in watching india matches when these stalwarts were not there...

DRAVID IS JUST A KHANAPOORTI FOR THE TIME BEING!
by JITENDER KUKREJA on Aug 18, 2009 09:35 AM

IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO HANG WITH DRAVID TILL 2011 W.C BUT IT IS TRYOUT TO GIVE A LESSON TO THE YOUNGSTERS TO GENERATE CONSISTENCY IN THEIR PERFORMANCE TO CONTINUE WITH THE TEAM, BETTER SAY WINNING SIDE.

You will never be able to understand
by Narahari K on Aug 18, 2009 09:35 AM

The decision of selection committee can never be understood. One day they would say they are looking for future and drop some one who is in qualified and later they would say he is a senior and an asset, will help the team with his experience. Their decisions and justifications are sinusoidal. We dont have any scope in those decision making. Yes.... we do have scope for writing justifications of selectors decision making or against it. lol

Rohit - Youngster - Talent ? Phew...
by Arun on Aug 18, 2009 09:34 AM

Do u risk in including Rohit, Kohli and other uncapped players for such an important tournamant like theChampions Trophy? Just think of what rohit has achieved? In 41 matches he has scored just 695 runs at an low average of 24. He has got enough chances to prove himself. How did he use those chances? Do u aware of what happened in world T20 and in WestIndies? How many more chances do u wish to give him? If so, will he prove himself in atleast some 150 matches or 4 years? Already he has played around 41 matches. and just 4 fifties with no single century and just 24 as average.
Do u want to include Rohit in the team just simply because he is a youngster and with so called talent? Talent-- I dont see any.

by rohit jindal on Aug 18, 2009 09:28 AM
