Rahul Dravid
by ravishankar maganti on Aug 18, 2009 11:10 AM

Ofcourse,he is a very good player. Till date nobody knows why he resigned as a captain when he played against England. Rahul Dravid lost his cool when Greg Chapple was out coach.

It is absolutely necesary Dravid for Indian Crcket team. We have been seen the bunch of youngsters has failed in the recent t20 series for short pitched bowling. If Dravid in the team, they will learn from Dravid how to bat against the short pitched bowling. He is legend of Indian cricket and Sachin is ICON of Indian Cricket. His presence is must for some years for Indian Cricket.

DRAVID STILL NEEDED FOR TESTS
by Sundaram KSM on Aug 18, 2009 11:01 AM

WHile its true that now Dravid might not be as effective in 50 overs version of the game - we still need him in tests. Even now in Indian cricket, Rahul is still the best player of pace and swing,

Parthiv Patel is not so good as Dinesh Khartick is. Khartick is much more aggressiva than PP.

What i think is what the selectors is done is very good sign by bringing the old buddy into the ODI games, so that young buddies would learn the lesson that old buddy can still play better than young buddies. As Selectors have given enough opportunity to young buddy like R. Sharma, Ravindra J., etc. by could not make any impact on the selectors like who has done by Y.Pathan.

This is a golden handshake for dravid and BCCI
BCCI has given him this chance after two years so that he can quit ODI in a respectful way and say good bye and announce his retirement b4 he is thrown out

See his last performances in ODI u will b shockjed to see how he is back
I also admire dravid but seems the ball is not turning his way..
Dravid high time to call it go and quit respectfullyy announce your retirement from ODI now

Young players only knows to throw the wicket at important moment. Young players does not know how to take responsibilities on their shoulders. As R. Sharma, has given enough chance to be a part of 14 members, but he could not take that opportunity and his average is around 24%, but I. Pathan is much better than R. Sharma, I.Pathan can bowl atleast 6 overs in ODI and can bat and his avg. is 24% around as R. Sharma. So, actually R.Sharma should not be list of 30 members and should include I. Pathan.

Well the young donkeys haven't performed in really testing conditions. They have played on featherbeds. At the 1st sign of testing pitches, they have surrendered. So, to use your lingo, the old donkeys have to come in
