This is nothing but just a request from a common man. I know it may not have an effect on u people but still I am requesting u. As all indians I also want all the Fab-Four to make a glorious exit so that people will remember a long time. You people must think about the Fab's exit seperately & individually. Right now lets concentrate on GANGULY.-- He has declared his retirement after the Australia Series. HE HAS CAPTAINED INDIA IN 49 TESTS. IT WOULD SIMPLY BE A GOLDEN GIFT FROM BCCI & ALL INDIANS TO DECLARE HIM AS A CAPTAIN IN THE LAST TEST OF THIS SERIES & ALLOW HIM ALL THE FREEDOM. I AM SURE THAT NO OTHER GIFT CAN BE BETTER THAN THIS & I AM SURE THAT 100 THOUSAND PEOPLE OF INDIA WILL AGREE WITH ME.
Hence it is my humble request --- PLS PLS PLS JUST THINK ONCE ON MY PROPOSAL.
As far as I have seen Ganguly, I feel he will forget everything, whatever happened in the past few years.
HE IS A GREAT BATSMAN, BUT AFTER 10 YRS PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER HIM AS ONE OF THE BEST CAPTAIN WORLD CRICKET HAS EVER PRODUCED.
HENCE NO GIFT CAN BE BETTER THAN THIS.

It is true that Dada served India for a long time and geeting his replacement is among one of the biggest challenge in front of Cricket, but it is cricket and it is bigger than any individual. Its time for new generation to carry Indian cricket in the same spirit which Fab 4 has shown.
All good things have to end one day or the other.In sport particular and in life in general, it is the fitness and then performance.One thing I and my age group who were born just days after independence can say without any hesitation that ,we in our life time will never see Fab four spinners and fab Four batsmen operating at the same time. We saw Gavaskar/vishvanath,kumble/Bhajji,sehwag/---, etc etc,kapil/srinath, srinath/venkatesh prasad.,but never 4 at a time.
Gavaskar and Kapil were chugged along till records were broken and nobody retired as gracefully as Merchant.Of course it is a debatable point ,what would have Vijay Merchant done under todays circumstances.

No Man.This is the right time to say GOODBYE to Cricket.Let us hope other three great players of famous Fab Four would not have fallen in such an insulting situation like Dada.He is a victim of dirty politics played by Greig,Kiran More,Dhoni and Dravid.

Shri Ganguli is cent percent correct in his opinion. Even though other players do not perform they are included in the teem dipriving the chances of the youngsters just because of bias.

Absolutely correct and i just cannot understand who are those journalist who write in newspaper because everyonestartedsaying about ganguly failing in srilanka series and in this serise other players of his age also failed but ganguly was shown door in irani trophy and noone else and sports journalist started qwriting without looking at records and when i say records i dont say about good record of ganguly in2007 i say about gangulys innings in kanpur against south africa and india won that test because of ganguly and also a test prior to it he played a fighting knock although india lost that test none of the sports joutnalist wrote about it and they were only speaking about srilanka series and io would like to know why no one ponts finger ytowards world greatest player although he also failed and why noone is saying about great indian leg spinner who is failing in bangalore also so please wake up and protest against insult dont to great captain
