Then we can talk about "Beginning of the end for Fab Four?. So upto the England series we let the seniors play their own game. I have Noticed that after enough chances to Yuvi and Kaif in 8 years thy can't cement their place in the team due to great inconsistent. For yuvi to give a chance dravid asked to open the Innings also. But he didn't utilized. Thn Kaif not given so many chances due to his ODI failures. Now Rohit added to the squad but he is too Inconsistent and he just scored his 2nd 1st class century. So don't go in to a Talk about retirement of those seniors. But The Juniors should be groomed with this seniors. If kumble can play at the Age of 38 sachin still have at least 3 yrs left in his career. So one new guy would be thr already in the playing eleven and another new guy also should given a chance into the playing eleven by resting one senior by rotation. one more new guy also should be included in the Squad. becoz i believe Dravid would be the Next but not now after 1 or 2 yr. But thy have to decide their retirement.

Also we point out that all fab 5 are good players but they all 5 perfom now slowly decreas so they should decide what they are capable of bcoz its very hard to make decision on ourself but it is must for indian cricket so as per last 5 years note we have make noticed that sachin should more focus on test cricket and good for him fitness to out from now 1day to give chance to young talent.Ganguli also honourable and he is already out from one day cricket from selective commitee and we also agree with that he should focus more on only test level now that he will be inspirational to other players and we dont think he behave like only king as he is a great human and great cricketer so he will definetely support the indian comming talent and selector also give full support to experience players to make him statement freely despite to make politic 4 personal winning coz u all dont forget that in your personal winning for secure your place and to show your impotance although not good for indian team int-national level it will big lose despite your personal win and secure place u all dont forget your place all will be safe once indian team perfom well and indian team will perfom well when all selector and expe- batsman support good talent indian cricketer current form.and also dravid include only in test and kumle-vvs should retire in both format.Make GAMBHIR captian in both format. give chance parthiv,rena,badrinath,chopra,chawl-ojha,nanda,m parmar,r sharm,kohli-pujra,dhawan 4 test

dont compare fearless without protective gear with fearful well protectd...
I guess media is to be blamed for all these. The Fab Four has contributed enough for Indian Cricket and we should look at the seniors with respect. It should be left to them to decide on their retirement and it should not be forced on them. Hats off to the Fab Four. Lets see who is going to replace them and how far they come good. Lets see what the modeia talks then, they might then talk saying that there is nobody to replace and the seniors should have thought before going for the retirement.

even due to lot of pressure or poor performance dada decided to retire but why sachin until now didnot decide any thing he just occupied one seat reserve for nothing. although he is a great player ever i see and i admire him a lot but his decision at this moment is hurting too

His performance with the bat may not be anything to write about of late, but his captaincy turned the image and attitude of the Indian team around. Call him brash or arrogant, he put his opponents, especially the Aussies in their place. He showed the way to counter the aggression of the Aussies on the field and the team was never the same again.
Can one imagine the older generation of Indian players standing up the the bullying by the Aussies?
He has made a positive contribution to Indian cricket and let us celebrate that, instead of criticizing him for all his shortcomings, especially since he will be gone shortly.
I think he has made right decision.he has been picked for Australian series.he can leave with all guns firing & retire gracefully.other thing is that our selectors have always kept saying that they are building team/s for the forthcoming world cup/s,but they forgot to build team for TEST matches.For the world cup they searched talent from the Under-19,Under-22 probables but they have not found TEST players and that is the reason they are in fix as to whom to replace the Top-5 players with. It is unfortunate that in India most people who do not understand cricket makes maximum judements on the performance/ selection of players and careers of players. This is the irony of India where most of the people over-react to things. It si bad both ways and we shoudl always remain attached to relaity and have a matured and measured thoughtprocess in place and not dis-respect players the way we do.
It is unfortunate that Ganguly has to go the way he did. We should respect him for what he has done for Indian cricket and his performance has been better than many youngsters who are wiating in the wings. They are waiting simply because age is on their side. Is that the right rationale? Micheal hussye came at 33 and he is still the best and most reliable bet for Australia. Robin singh came at 33 and he was one of the best in his days. Jaysuria still plays like no one else. Why is this media trying to create sensations by writing all controversial things about these seniors.
They have done us proud given all of us millions of reasons to smile so if we can't give them respect in return atleast we should not dis-respect them the way we do. Shame on India Media and old cricketers, who themselves did not do anything in life but have the guts to write all possible things about these exceptional talents. Shame on these people! may better sense prevails.

Agree with you and some of these so called youngsters cannot even score consistantly in the domestic matches. Take Yuvaraj. The guy is a fabulous in the short form of the game. but a total failure when it comes to test matches. His once in a blue moon scoring is just plain pathetic. We need more strong batters who not only are young, but have the mental maturity and strength that matches the fab. four. Otherwise, the talk of retirement is premature and foolish.
Ganguly may have retired due to his own body and circumstances. I dont see any Sachin Tendulkar knocking in the india's domestic scene. These guys that call for the retirement of these greats are just plain pathetic and should be ignored.
he is never suprstar. But he always carried himself to the team with his performances which media/masses don't like. He dont earn as much as other 'fab four'. So dont call him fab/senior etc.
