(a) There is no history of BCCI being performance driven consistently (b) There are a lot of people who are not going to wait a life time to click in BCCI ... there are too many people in India who can play decently

who r u talking like that about ICL..r u a supporter of this ICL...how can u rank the players in ICL.
Can we have an all Indian Team from the current pool of ICL players and the Pakistani team(Currently playing in the Lahore badshah's avatar) and Rest of international players making up a rest of the world team invloved ina trinagular Twenty20 or 50-50 triseries..what say Kapil Paaji
Talent is available everywhere but very few get spotted because they have the advantage of some one backing them up in selection. For instance, Yuvaraj has been ther for so many years and even shewag. Within the same span, Hyden, Clark, Symonds, other english/srilanka cricers like Strauss, Bell, Flintoff, Jayawardhene have become stars and consistent performers. but shewag/yuvi even today are most inconsistent performers. they are in the team because bcci is worried about sponsor money. That is why ICL is a neccesity. We must have second team playing every where even internation ICL league headed by India. One day, ICL will be hailed as a alternative to ICC. ICL donot worry, success is a hard journey. ICC/BCCI are merely worried about their business and so will move heaven and earth to block ICL. If ICL is serious for 5 years, then u will see the results
ICL IS GOOD FOR PRMOTING NEW TALENT.BUT IT SHOULD BE RUN WITH DICIPLINE. IT SHOULD NOT BE A TAMASHA CRICKET.FIRST THEY SHOULD STOP WEARING GODY COLOUR CLOTHES, THEY ARE LOOKING MORE LIKE JOKERS THAN CRICKTERS.NO OF MATCHES SHOULD BE LIMITED TO KEEP VIEWER INTERES ALIVE.
BCCI does not own cricket, if players from ICL is banned from playing in the bcci/ icc sponsored games, drag them to court, im sure the players arent at fault for playing in another option, i dont see any point in banning other than tryig to control the game and stifle rivals - which is a monopolistic behaviour.

Already they are sued by ICL but you know pretty well how the Indian courts works & it may take a couple of months or years for hearing & god only knows.
In the North East India there are lot of talents they never got chance. So I suggest ICL can look towards Northeast India for anything like players, grounds, sponsors etc.

way to make icl successful is to make it free to air, not select channels. get the rural people involved, get icl on national tv.
