ICL should play with Indian Hockey team. where in they will play with hockey sticks and ICL players will play with bat. Because no one is taking ICL seriously. Knowing Zee people, Subhash Goel will ditch them any moment.
now that hockey team has come to new low, ICL shud encourage hockey players to join ICL & play ckt so that they make some money for spoiling thier career by playing hockey till good infrastructure come into play.

I am quite agree with you. Really Hocky Players also should decide to join a IPL so that they can earn some money. Because Hockey players became irritated due to non-selection in Bijing Olampics. So they have to decide to join a IPL.
BCCI nipped the competetion among ICL and IPL in the bud itself. Unfortunate that ICL has to struggle to remain afloat in the Indian cricket scene. If the same situation continued for long, the first choice of all good talents will IPL and those filtered out will think of jumping to ICL. It is a pitiful scenario. You may even see a day when ICL would have to think of a different business model or vanish.

agreed that ICL has its failings BUT if u think dat IPL is a success, sample this
1.Saurav & Dravid - CANNOT FIND A PLACE IN D INDIAN ODI SQUAD BUT WILL LEAD sides in T20...huh!!!!
2.Laxman - did not play an ODI for India in 4 yrs. for India but will lead Hyd for a T20...amazing!!!
3. D Mac Graths,D Warne's r all past their prime...anyone in a self denial mode???
4.Shoaib Akhtar - he's a pale shadow of his former self...except SRKs confidence in him, nobody on dis planet wil belive his current form !!!
5.Ajit Agarkar - will get 1.6Cr?????????...in India there are many who would PAY to BCCI to have dis m****n not playing for India again!!
6.Manoj Tewari- wil get more dan Ponting & Co.,...couldnt stand up to Lee's pace in d ODI playd!!!
7. Romesh Pawar etc etc...many non performers would be playing for IPL and d GR8test aspect of IPL is dat dey will be paid handsomely for playin d league.
I feel the efforts of ICL should be appreciated and encouraged for there are so many players who could not have seen the light and would have never got a chance to sit next to foreign international players.They are not even sitting with them but playing with and against them.
Let us not compare ICL with BCCI or IPL.But in times to come we will have somany cricketers leading a good life due to ICL program.
Kiran More is not worth even as a 12th man, when he was cheif selector of Indian team his selection was influenced by dirty politics and nothing else. Thank God today he doesnot feature in the main stream as a selector or anyway connected with it then Indian cricket can expect a Doomsday forth like the way he carried his personal records.

Time has come when all these private boards(so called guardians of game) stop acting in their private interests and start working in nations interest.Govt should intervene and take the best players to represent our country irrespective of the board they belong to.More than cricket, this is badly needed in Hockey
