Tendulkar has shone as the one man gladiator for India. SOMEONE once said "an expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less until he knows everything about nothing". The same applies to those experts who have conferred upon themselves the right to come hard upon someone who I would term a national asset. Tendulkar outweighs statistics and numbers. That is reflected in his altruistic and dedicated batting which thoroughly impresses the cricket experts. Tendulkar is a match-winner, although in a team of 11 when everyone gives his best it would be an overstatement, but the number of times that Sachin has put India within sniffing distance of a victory is a sign of his class and commitment. Many criticize him for he has not won some one-day finals in the last few years? But how many of these finals would we have reached but for Sachin? Does it not take a match-winner to win the matches which take us to the final?

Oh really how many matches Mr. Sachin has won for India....hw many world cups we have won..its becasuse of people like you he has become a demi-god....he is a good sales man and really looks good while selling Cold drink and Insurance cover......he is nothing in comparison to Lara, Kapil or Steve Waugh

Sachin scored 523 runs in 1996 world cup and led India to semi-final, even in semi-final he was top scorer but others failed and India lost that match. Sachin score 673 runs in 2003 world cup but didn't get the required support from other players. Sachin has highest number of runs in all finals. Sachin is the highest run scorer against Australia both in Test and One day. Sachin has 17 centuries against Australia. Sachin is the highest run getter in foreign pitches. What more u want my dear friend. Just think over what Sachin has given to India. U should be proud that Sachin is an Indian.

All these data are crap...Mr. Vyas....I am still waiting for the info on hw many test matches he has won for India...He is a batesman who cant even score 5 run wn it matters most...remeber in the last World Cup final..and before that in quaterfinal both against Australia.....He is a good player but certainley dont deserve all these adjectives of being Great..greatest etc........For me Kapil, Kumble, Ganguly are the best cricketers India has produced.......

For ur records some big Test matches that were won by Sachin. 155 not out against Australia 1998 in Chennai. 71 against Australia on deadly in 2008 pitch of Perth. 126 against Australia in 2001. 194 against Pakistan. 91 against England 2007. There r many more test matches that were won by Sachin, if u ask I will give u more. Sachin hit 3 sixes of Macgrath in Nairobi 2001. Sachin hit six of Wasim Akram in Toronto Sachin has scored of scoring more than 5000 runs against Australia with 17 centuries, what mroe u want my dear friend

Sachin is very devoted to the game and as well as responsible.Sachin is always dedicated and plays to his full potential where as almost everyone in his team plays for the records. You can see the disappointment of a newcomer in his face when he gets out. He is conscious that the all the bowlers are analysing his play and trying to get a clue on how to get him out.As a person, he is very much humble and helpful to juniors. Always soft with autograph-hunters.. can we remember any incident where he had caused a trouble?Regarding 'Sachin's Home', One word 'superb' will say it all. He has the capacity to play on any kind of pitch, on any country and against any type of bowling.As a person, he is an incomparable human being. demolishing greats like McGrath and Shane Warne are admirable and unimaginable. In terms of technique and compactness, Tendulkar is the best. Technically he stands out as the best because of his ability to increase the pace at will. Sachin is perhaps only next to the Don. A complete batsman. He's the best in the business. Seam or spin, fast or slow ? nothing is a problem. See the stillness of his head, his straight back-lift, the ease with which he played his shots and their wide range. The fact of the matter is that India still need Sachin in a big way. All this talk of the youngsters taking over is very foolish.
