Chappel email
by Ramesh Chandra on Sep 23, 2005 01:36 PM

I was only too shocked at the news of patch up of Ganguly-Chappel. In fact Ganguly is incorrigible and

a person having no respect to the teacher is a worthless man be he a cricket captain /player or for that matter anything. He should have been shown the door even before the last worldcup. He is not worth to be in the team. That is all and sooner we wake up the better.

Ganguly unfit to lead:
by vkramanathan on Sep 23, 2005 01:35 PM

DearSir,I have personally come to the same conclusion as Mr.Chappel, i.e. "Ganguli unfit to lead",long ago. Not only he is unfit to lead, he should not be in the team also. I appreciate Coach Mr.Chappel for his bold appraisal in the interest of Indian cricket. I have no doubt that Chappel will shape an excellent cricket team for India. With best wishes to Mr.Chappel and to Indian cricket team.

Bravo Chappell
by vikram on Sep 23, 2005 01:33 PM

Atleast someone in indian cricket is bold enough to say the truth. We all know how ganguly is able to manage to be in the team and how it has started affecting the morale of the team. Its high team that senior members of the team support Chappell and let the best 11 in the country play for india.

Ganguly should quit the captaincy
by Kumar on Sep 23, 2005 01:33 PM

anybody can easily imagine if ganguly quits the captaincy, he may not be there in the team. He it truly unfit to be in Indian Team, neither as a captain or a player.

I don't know why BCCI giving him so many chances, though he fails everytime. As long as Jagmohan Dalmia is there, Ganguly will be there.

Even the politics are spread across the games also.

The major drawback of Indian Cricket Team is Saurav, he too knows it. But a selfish Ganguly wants to be there in the team as many years as psbl.

Now this is the time for BCCI to think seriously about this issue. Let Dalmia also get axed.

Chappell should be kicked out.
by Arun on Sep 23, 2005 01:26 PM

We need to kick out Chappell and send him back to Australia. We should be ashamed to bring this Goras and teach us how to play cricket. Why can't we have our own Desi Coach? Greg Chappell is out to grab full control of the team and is having serious issues with Ganguly. He is going to cause serious problem in the Indian team and needs to be immediately sent back.

why is it made public?
by vijay kumar on Sep 23, 2005 01:16 PM

Why things are made public? The word unfit is to harsh.Remember the same captain always had a good time with John Wright for years.I hope there is no politics in cricket.

Ganguly unfit to lead Indian Team
by V Prabhakaran on Sep 23, 2005 01:10 PM

I was observing the recent developements with regard to the competency of Mr. Ganguly in leading the team. In fact at many ocassions, Mr. Ganguly had proved that he is not competent and it has become the talk of even the common man. To keep the tradition at the highest place, it is the correct time that Mr. Ganguli should immediately resign from captancy and allow upcoming players chance. However, we will remember him ever for his contributions to the Indian team, but one should see things beyond the personal interest and gains for the sake of the nation. My sincere advice to Mr. Ganguli is that he may immediately step down from the captancy and allow the administration to take its course of action.

Ganguly and Chappel
by Krishna Manohar Kislay on Sep 23, 2005 01:01 PM

Well Mr Chappel. You know you are speaking about India's most successful captain in Indian Cricketing History. His ability to lead cannot be put under question.... His place in the squad is also not a question mark as he might be goin thru a lean patch but then he is a tiger and will pounce back.

Why has this started just because he felt neglected and isolated in the Sri Lankan trip.

Chappell's behaviousr too should be marked as he has been trying to cross his domain time and again.

Mr Chappel you should not forget that this is the tiger who has led India for a record number of time and also has the record of maximum percentage of win under his belt. How can his leadership ability be questioned.

its time we go for an Indian Coach. John Wright had done all good and an Indian Coach from there can take it further.

Regards

Krishna Kislay
