Ganguly
by panakat ameeruddin on Sep 23, 2005 12:39 PM

Ganguly was a great player and now he is not. Statistics can prove this. Why should sportsmen cling on to the posts they have like politicians. It is high time Gnaguly leaves the scene with grace. His body language shows his lack of confidence and like any person who wants to cling on to power he moves aroudn the field.

Coaches and old players and the hHief of IHF just for the sake of power and glory destroyed Indian Hockey . Hope this does not happen to cricket. We are fed up seeing the same faces in Football, Hockey and Cricket be it the coach, President,Players. Years will have its toll so people should leave with grace and if need be they should be thrown out.

Mr Ganguly,
Character is simple and straight-forward. We need more people like him not you. Get lost.
Regards,
Purushottam

Cricket controversy
by S.K.Bedi on Sep 23, 2005 12:37 PM

As per my opinion, in the fitness of things, we must avoid washing our dirty linen in public. These matters should be dealt with more discreetly, otherwise it can lower the morale of all our team members. Such incidences must be avoided at any cost to uphold the dignity of this game and of the players who represent our country.

Ganguly unfit to lead.
by H.BORAH on Sep 23, 2005 12:37 PM

A leader should lead from the front. A player who is not supposed to be selected with his present form how he can lead a team? Only because of Dalmiyas support he clinging to the post. Both should be sacked for betterment of the game.

Bad on Ganguly's part
by Lokesh on Sep 23, 2005 12:33 PM

Chappell is 100 percent right in doing so. Ganguly is commenting on Chappell's beahviour while in the first place, he was the one who broke work ethics and went to the media. How stupid of him

Chappel is right
by Arunkumar.S on Sep 23, 2005 12:29 PM

I would like to share Chappels thoughts. You are just perfect, superb and rightly caught Ganguly in the nets. Ganguly is sombre, inactive, lazy and unfit for anything - batting, bowling or fielding. He can hit tons only with 6th world countries like Zim, Ban, Ken. Kudos Chappel - please remove him out of captaincy - I would celebrate the occasion.

By the way I would like to share the new word 'Ganguly' which has recently been added to the Oxford Dictionary which means that - "Special class of attitude in professional life" - so that explains all.

chappel e mail
by raju gupta on Sep 23, 2005 12:28 PM

what chappel has said in the email is nothing new . everyone knows it and perhaps only bcci has its eyes shut as well as the ears.or perhaps it does not not have either of these faculties. also what a faction ridden body like bcci can do about the state of affairs.
chappel may not be the best coach in the world but his e mail is a bare statement of facts and now it is up to the authority to think whether it is really interested in the indian crickets survival or its motto is the death of it.
