Ganguly

Ganguly's time is over. The more he tries to stick on the more he will lose face. He must bow out gracefully while some respect is still due to him, otherwise he will be booted out.

Dear Sir,

It is time for Ganguly to sept down from the post of Captian of Indian Criket team. When he is not fet to be a memeber of Indian Criket team how can you ask him to be a capitan. Individual person is not improtant by country is more improtant.

Why him ?
by Sandipan on Sep 23, 2005 06:36 PM

I really dont understand this fuss about Sourav-Chappel. Sourav had been captain for the last 5 years or so. India had done extreamlly well under his captaincy. He is most successfull captain in the india history. Every body (also the media) had agreed that he had injected killer instinct in the team. Just 2 days ago there was a statistics page on Sourav's performance in rediff, showing him the 3rd most successfull captain. And Chappell is just there for 2 months or so. In fact it was on Sourav's recommendation Board had choose Chappell. (Tom Moddy was in contention also). So why is Chappell doing this ? In all this things India's clean-swipe win over Zim (2-0) got lost. Shame on Chappell.

Chappel only professional in Indian team

Chappel only professional in Indian team

The BCCCI president, when asked on Ganguly's continuation in Indian team remarked - "you cannot throw out a parent just because they have become old". This is from a person selected to lead a highest Indian institution!

Saurabh Gauguly is another reflection of rowdy noprofessionalism. He forgets that this is not his St. Xaviers college canteen, and the team captain cannot be flouting norms and be an example of indiscipline and nonprofessionalism, cannot wave his shirt on the job, or misuse the time and media slot to air personal grieviances.

The more you make the captain talk, the more misfit he will sound for the team. This is from yesterday - "You can imagine the character of a person who within hours of a truce goes and writes such an e-mail."

Drop Ganguly!
by Sauron on Sep 23, 2005 06:08 PM

Its about time Ganguly be dropped. I don't know how much of this is true, but if he is dividing the dressing room, he must be sacked. That is uacceptable. Sounds like the British all over again.

Ganguly unfit to lead
by Sandeep on Sep 23, 2005 05:57 PM

So ultimately, the Indian captain has been exposed by a foreigner. This was the event, every Indian was looking for. It seems, a guy who was there at the zenith by hook or crook for a long time will have to say good bye. A few incidences when he was doings wrongs were: Last tour of Australia to India, when Ganguly suddenly left the team in shambles when India was 0-2 down by complaining an injury on the day of Nagpur Test. Team Physician says, he has no idea of Ganguly's injury. Ganguly runs. Same thing in Pakistan. He evades big challanges by doing false injury claims not supported by team physician.

Forget about his form..Because of him talented guys are outside in both forms of the game.Very Strange. Star news has exposed him so many times that people stoped talking about him. Heavy game plan between Dalmiya & Ganguly which is causing Indian cricket a great fall. Action point- REmove Ganguly w.i.e.; MAke Dravid captin wi.e.

Ganguly Unfit to Lead
by Jay on Sep 23, 2005 05:54 PM

Who the hell is team captain to argue or challenge the coach? World over coach is considered as ultimate authority over the team. If coach wishes so, Ganguly should step down from captaincy.
In fact, he should have stepped down even before coach told considering his poorer than poorest performance, arrogancy, divide and rule policy etc etc.But he is so shameless........he still wants to stay as captain.

Yes, he should go!
by Thomas on Sep 23, 2005 05:41 PM

There is no place for non-performers on the Indian team. India has great young talents awaiting an opportunity to play for the country. Why can't they be given a chance? Ganguly, can, however, continue with his divide and rule initiative elsewhere!
