Get me one player on this earth who can boast of such a record against Australia. How can u pick vetorri in the world x1. He has 138 ODI wickets in 151 matches. Come on dont get quota system into this. Similarly neither Sehwag nor Afridi deserves a place in World X1 One day team.
Will the bunch of jokers, justify the selection of this World IX Test & One day squad. Inclusion of Inzi is shocking as you have take out the spine from your team. Test: Players 14: Vaugan (Captain), Fleming, Sachin, Dravid, Lara, Inzamam, Kallis, Sangarkara, Flintoff, Murali, Shoaib, Kumble, Hammirson & Bond. This is the cream of World IX test Squad.
The jokers have to realize the current form the cricketers are on going and not the past. For sure my choice for Sachin is on a personal basis as this player can gain form on any occassion.
Players like Shewag, Smith, Boucher & ettori does not fall in the merit list. This should have been considered by the selectors. I hope everyone agrees by my view.

Its great for the game of cricket to have all these players pit up against each other and its also great for the viewers. however, its really sad that a great player like Inzi finds no place in the line up. Moreover, having Vettori in the side over Kumble or Kaneria is strange. If one had to include a Kiwi player, they should have Stephen Fleming over Hershelle Gibbs in the ODI. Anyway I hope it all works out well.
I expect Inzamam, rahul in the team for both the version but they make bad choise in team selection. both the players are capable middle order batsmans and are expert in handling pressure. again kumble is out for vettory, can you justify this decision? jaysurya is out for sehvag in one day, again bad choise. Tendulkar is unfit and is out of play since 4 months, how do you justify his presence in team without sufficient practice? Really bad team selection!
