Hi friend,
whom do you talking about 10000 runs, if you are really talking about sourav ganguly means i am against to you, because the present form of ganguly is so bad that he is unfit for indian team also, because of him only lot of talented young players missing chances, dont you think so

Absolute nonsense!! Agendas and Propagandas that's all I see in this selection. It's obvious this selection committee had no integrity, nor any sincerity in their objective to pick the best possible team. They all should be ashamed of themselves; for whatever its worth, I have lost all the respect for Gavaskar and his so called cricket acumen. Absolute BS.

I think instead of laxman or anil they should be really preffering Ganguly who have scored a lot of runs in the past and abt anil is concerned he is poor performer these days he shouldnt be playing county matches and shoud be banned ,,,.......

Hi, "The selection panel also included former England captain Mike Atherton, Richard Hadlee, West Indian legend Clive Lloyd, South African fielding great Jonty Rhodes and Sri Lankan star batsman Aravinda de Silva With Sunil Gavaskar" I think, those people are having good cricket knowledge than us. I stick with selection panel's final selection.

U r right, Manoj.Vettori can't be compared to the highest Indian wicket taker, Kumble. It seems to be more show off game for ICC.What have Shaoib, Afridi to do there, Crowd pullers? Rahul is ranked 5 in the ODI rankings and yet not selected.Ridiculous, isn't it?

Who do you refer to when you say "player who has scored 10000 ODI runs doesn't find a place in the side."? If you meant Jayasuriya, then I too find it a shame that a fine batsman of his calibre and tenacity hasn't found a place in the team. But if you meant our great Dada, then I totally disagree. The amount of time, matches and damage to Indian cricket it took for Dada to cross the 9950-10000 gap, speak volumes. Have a look at Dada's performance chart for last 2 years and I'm sure you won't be asking this question anymore. I don't know how long Dada plan to impose himself on the India team by the virtue of his PAST performances and his strong links at BCCI, but to a common Indian cricket fan he doesn't even deserve a place in the Indian team, let alone in the World XI teams.

Its a real shame to paste this article considering the performance of Laxman for the past couple of months. His performance has not been ordinary but horrible. I feel that he should never be considered for indias selection.
