Young India ----- not asserting
by anuradhakumari on Sep 24, 2010 09:41 PM  | Hide replies

One remarkable Thing ----- Most of the people busy in preparation are old.
They have showed what they can deliver!

Why our young Blood ie. YOUNG MPs not asserting or taking proactive role for the sake of their own country?
We, Indians wish to read, hear our most elligible Future PM, Shri Rahul Gandhi to comment something about this CWG MESS!

It is not about young or old kumarijee.look what a mess a young CM has made in Kashmir, and is there any young, having balls in this country ,to take over from that old man Mr Sreedharan of Delhi Metro?
Kalmadi & co is fund collectors for the congress party and that is why they are still in their seat.In any other country they would have received two big boots in their asses.

Misplaced anger PM
by Ganesh Sadasivan on Sep 24, 2010 09:41 PM  | Hide replies

The PM should be angry with the Finance minister and useless RBI Governor for inflation. The PM should be angry with the Home minister for the messup in Kashmir. The PM should be angry with the irresponsible Agriculture minister for ignoring his ministry and spending time on cricket & for allowing foodgrains to decay. The PM should be angry with the health minister for allowing the spread of swine flu. The PM should be angry with the Planning/water resources minister for allowing lacs of cusecs of water into the sea. The PM should be angry with himself for mortgaging his authority to sonia & rahul. Leaving all this why should he get angry and waste his time over the commonwealth game about which only the media, the money making ministry and a few elite Delhiites are bothered. Still the rest of the country is with the PM , if he gets angry and pulls people up for things relevant to the common man. Other wise people will get angry with him at the next elections.

To regain INDIA's lost pride and glory, PATNA should be made venue of next event, games etc. (if world give us a chance)........

UP and Bihar People (popularly referred as BHAIYAs in some aprts of this Great Nation) will leave no stone unturn to make any event a GRAND SUCCESS!!!!!!!

BIHAR and UP occupy ancient pious place in HINDU Religion. The present UP is home of many HINDU Gods and Goddesses and BIHAR is great Land of Gautam Buddha and Emperor Ashok.....

Present day/ era also, people from these regions are very hard working.... though they are often targeted by some people/ society due to envy..............

---------
What I mean to say that we in INDIA never repent on our lack of prfessionalism, lethargic work atmosphere, discuss how to make INDIA as a whole --- a great and strong nation. A country which emphesises quality utmost but WASTE our TIME in useless kicking of some poor people (of some ethnic, language group) to get some votes, discussing a matter least significant for the benefit of Common INDIANs

Time is running! Let's wake up.....

Bihar and UP can 1000% put a fantastic show - if not stopped by horrible Mayawati, anti-national Mullahyam, Dirty Paswan or fodder eater Laloo.

why was the PM silent for so long??
He is interefering when everything has been done. who will pay for the huge sum spent on CWG? Is there any role of the honourable president of India other than being a mute spectator. who is answerable for all these.

Oh ! she is very busy visiting all the places in the history book like baluchistan, cambodia , khazakistan and spreading our culture. I doubt whether she is aware of which country she is visiting , what language they are speaking and for what purpose. Sombody is planning her trip, the plane is free , about 50 officers who want to visit these countries ( if possible to smuggle in something) will fix the dates and she is out. What a president.

Dear PM Sir, organise an apology
by Devdutt Nayak on Sep 24, 2010 09:39 PM  | Hide replies

Indians expect an apology. We have been gladly consuming and growing as per your prescriptions, tolerating and obeying.

But this is a shame which will make Indians be called names in spheres outside of sports and much after the Games.

Not to mention the golden phrase:
Tax Payer Money

or the old phrase:
Govt for the people, by the people, of the people.
and the unambiguous terms:
Sovereign Socialist State

So from an ethical point of view, we deserve an apology.

From a practical point of view, we understand that you cannot remove corruption in a day, week, month or even year.

Economics, your forte, does not prescribe any solution for corruption or for organised crime.

So we know the shortcomings you face in improving the system.

However, an apology is possible, feasible and rapidly implementable, without long-term negative political consequences.

So I request that you issue a PMO order to all employees of the NDMC, OC, Govt offices dealing with CWG contractors, the Sports Ministry, the Delhi State Govt (being of Cong party) offices, and the Delhi Traffic Police,

to gather on the next day of the Games for a token apology to the nation.

If the Games are a grand success, everyone would love to get a free pass from Govt to the closing ceremony.
So officials will not mind attending such a function.

Then they should have no logistical problems attending an apology function either.

IF not that, at least a public website with signatures of said officials.

Re: Dear PM Sir, organise an apology

If you cannot get all the Govt officials of all these departments and offices to just simply apologize to the nation, the public, EVEN ONCE,

then definitely there is not a small chance that corruption is going to be touched by such an embarrassing episode.

If you ever truly think of fighting corruption, then this is a golden chance

to force all officials to go on record apologising for the collective shameful failure.

The children of each of these officials will then be enlightened citizens,

having understood well that their friends in school, college, and their colleagues in office,

have seen clearly that their parents have apologised for corruption.

A mass apology will be a first in the world, in a democracy, and will be spoken of for a long time.

This will definitely make a difference to the scale of corruption and put a token fear of plain embarrassment in Govt officials.

If you cannot get them to assemble in the stadium, at least publish their apology on a simple website hosted by NIC.

Without such a stark precedent, the future or corruption in India looks quite bright, and of democracy and justice, quite grim.

We have marathons, India Shining campaigns, celebrations of Sensex, awards to Cricketers and sportsmen.

All those have motivational importance.

Public apology for corruption also has motivational importance.

If you side with whistleblowers, then this is a great step to give confidence to fight corruption.

Thank you.
Jai Hind.
