Mr.Gill was upset with the cricketers not turning to receive the padma awards. He termed it as an insult to the nation. When the indian cricketers did not accede to the WADA whereabouts clause, Mr.Gill was busy advicing the cricketers to agree to the clause. Now, looking at the manner with which the games are being organised, i wonder what he has to say about it. It is a shame and disgrace and our country has become a laughing stock of the world!

Vicarious Liability
by Jems Odda on Sep 24, 2010 09:20 PM  | Hide replies

PM can not take immunity from the Vicarious liability, he is equally responsible for corruption [which has been contended by CAG in its report] mess and image before World countries. Ofcourse, every ministry is saying that they can not interfer in other ministry, showing extra clean ness than other. The true story is that every states and central ministers have to give 'GURUDASHINA" to their Gurus sitting in 24-Akabar, and 10 Janpath. The main reasons of these mess is corruption which has been started from the first day of CWG organization, which appeared in British Media. The selection of minsters in ruling party is not based on education and honesty of the person, but it based on the highet degree of dishonesty and most un educated. This is eye opening to people sitting at the helm of affairs. But in India every thing is money, whether it is black or white. During my College days I was having camped of NCC at Bhopal, in 1969, I read a news in local Hindi papers that a person who is Inspector of Police, working during day times making a Panchnama of Jwellery theft, but in night same shop was looted by him. In 1949 during partition a Kasturilal, gold and siver businessman, came from Jalunder, to Merrut, he was caught by police, and his all jwellery was seized by police, and kept him in custody. Next few days he got the bailed, but gold articles were not retuned back to him. But our supreme court, given the immunity under soveregien duty of police.

Ofcourse the judgement was largly criticized by people. In similar case a officer of NCDC demanded bribe for sanctioning refinanace to cashew growing farmers society. The director of society lodged the cr complaint with CBI New delhi. The trap was arranged but not materilzed because of money demanded by officer was Rs.10 lacs, before that Rs 5 lacs was already paid. When he came to know about trap, he rejected the Refinance to farmers. The farmers went in Nationa Consumer Forum, making party to Present Cabinet Secretary, who is at the helm of CWG, Union and State Govt. The CS moved a application for deleting his name from the respondent list, on the ground that he is not concern with the Agriculture Ministry or any other ministry. The Commission in his finding very specifically stated that the Lawyer of complainant had not strongly challenged the issue in his application. Therefore, there may be pre planned inbetween lawyer and cabinet secretary. According to Constitution he is appointing authority and therefore CS is responsible for vicarious liability. All top PMO, Cabinet Secretariat, etc officials are getting extention after extention. What about new officers?. Ofcourse it is up to PM to decide. But when such defficient officers are making error and the image of country, spoiled, then who is responsible for such. The Suresh Kalmadi, should be removed forthwith, the Ex EC now Minsiter of Sports, must pay damages by selling his house and other assets if he have.

Now that the normaly meek P.M has wokenup and things have started falling in places, it is time that someone should file a PIL in the Supreme court and put all the crooks and criminals behind bars.

I really wish our legal system was as strong as US or UK where guilty get punished quickly. Here in India the legal cases will go on for decades without any meaningful hearing or decision.

Singh should resign and feel ashamed on empty slogans
by Rajendra Gupta on Sep 24, 2010 09:14 PM  | Hide replies

MM Singh should resign . There is nothing great in chairing a meeting and that too so late.,Was he deaf and dumb all these months? Always busy to please MNCs and white masters this person has wreaked havoc in the country by naked dance of profiteering and corruption. When countries finish games projects 1 years in advance in india it is in shambles a few days before the date.the manner in which money has been eaten in this CWG project is national shame.Kalmadi should be arrested and prosecuted.Shiela Dikhsit should also resign. It is time people of India act tough against free for all going on in country.
MM Singh should have minimum decency not to call india super power.he represents a rotten society that is corrupt unmanageable ,poor and filthy. But he doggedly continues as PM even when he is not fit for it.

Do we have moral right to speak about these leaders? Just wondering!

PM intervenes
by Kalpana Bajpai on Sep 24, 2010 09:12 PM

what were PM and his cabinet all through.why it took so long to realise that our pride is at stake internationally. Besides Kalmadi, sports minister, Sheila Dixit , the government on the whole is responsible!! The job could have been managed well by private parties. By the wayever wondered how much has been spent to provide facilities/training on our sports persons in order to improve their performance???

When the possible valuation of the constructed CWG structures in Delhi hovers around few hundred Crores (value Greatly diminished due to poor Quality and HIGH CORRUPTION) , A PIL is required against this govt and hold them ,however mighty they appear to be,responsible with suitable JAIL term for diminishing the WEALTH AND SELF RESPECT of INDIA in the eye of the world, ...
