by Damodaran Potti on Oct 15, 2010 05:00 PM  | Hide replies

Early this morning Kalmadi managed to fill up the busy chaurahas in Pune with big banners congratulating Kalmadi for successful organization of CWG!!! This man is so shameless!!! He think by paying his few chamchas he can change his badly tarnished image. He should be socially boycotted.

CWG Games
by anil pinto on Oct 15, 2010 04:47 PM  | Hide replies

What is it about the media that they have gone gungho against Kalmadi and the CWG right from day 1. The grapewine is that some big time politician from Western Maharashtra has some pretty interest in all this and is funding these type of comments. The fact is that no matter what the games were a huge success and it made many an Indian proud of our athletes and also the organisers for holding out a fantastic games. I think the editor and people like him will never realize that the time has come that India can do it. These games have proven this to them and all those critics who think otherwise. Thumbs up to India, Thumbs up to C.W.G.

Why..? B'coz suddenly U realized that caste has started hurting U more than it hurts other groups...Oppressor has started becoming opressed..isn't it? I did not invent the caste...but was forced to follow this..by whom...?? so when I find a little humor in UR or Sneha types dragged into difficult situation I find it humorous a little BLUE though.

first , you are not forced into the caste system. You might have been bought up in an unfortunate atmosphere where "caste system" is practiced.

But as a grown up ( if you are indeed) , you have a choice of ignoring it. It was forced on to you, no ones asking you to continue following it right ?

Funny thing is, i am not a brahmin. I am however Superior to you and your kind who do have caste/creed/regionalism on the back of their minds.

Are you an idiot to mix cast with corruption? A corrupt is a corrupt.Majority of Government officials are non-Brahmins and 99% of them are corrupt. Any say on that?

Well whom am I to profess anything about caste, I barely know it..? I found it utterly humorous for precisely this reason only that whenever question of caste comes Brahmins now a days get hyper about it. U utter caste and U are labled castiest. create media frenzy about those who speak caste in public, though in reality U never stopped practising caste but the time has come when U are badly hit by this caste couldron and U have realized that caste must go at least for a generation or 2. but the real problem, others have found this a very effective tool and despite of trying very very hard brahmins who created and professed caste are not able to find any solution to it. U know I'm on win win equation if caste remains I'll use it for my benefit to the fullest if this goes I'll join the other bandwagon of caste bashers, till than happy caste hunting...

Congrats Mr. Kalmadi! Its a grand success
by Kungfu Panda on Oct 15, 2010 04:29 PM  | Hide replies

Kalmadi has done excellent job. Credit should go to CWG and also sheila Dikshit govt who chipped in the last moment and made the games a success. Its not easy to build stadiums, roads, infrastructure, games village etc from scratch and make it a grand success. I bet whoever are criticizing including Mr. Ganesh Nadar to take up such a huge project like this. I am sure they will mess it up. Its not as easy as damaging the reputation and character assasination which the media so much loves to do. The games have already fetched delhi 22000 cr. After the games success lakhs of children will get inspired to participate in such games. Infrastructure, facilities will improve all over the country and will make India a great sporting nation. Till now we had only cricket which sucks big time on global map. now these games will change the course of sports in India

Kungfu I think people like you have ruin this country.
Here you are talking about a person who has disgraced India at every level.
Since 2003 he has delibrately bent the rules to make sure he gets the max money out of games.
Since 2003 Kalmadi has stopped any move to centralize the games organising committe, because he wanted to make max money out of it.for last 7 years Kalmadi has made trillion of ruppees.
You might be a fool to praise him
CWG success was a desperate measue by the Central Govt to save India's honour. As even after 7 years Klamadi and gang did not finish the work.
Kalmadi should be shot in head for the disgrace he has bought to the country.

I would suggest read the book called Cellotape Legacy.
It actually gives details of accounts where Kalmadi has made money.
Since 2003 Kalmadi is delibrately bending the rules.
Now his son is involved in India's first f1 Circuit and making plenty of money using contracts. Same way his dad made in CWG.
its a shame that Indians accept corruption as a part of their life...what a shame
