Very few people know that Suresh Kalmadi is a Yadav & the Yadav Mahasabha has given the call for his support..Lalu & Mulayam are already pulling strings in the govt to bail him out..it may be noted that these two Yadav stalwarts who lose no chance to criticise & ridicule the central govt after being denied entry in the cabinet have kept totally mum on such a big scandal..not privately though..they have been trying to get him (Kalmadi) a deal by making him resign & letting him go scot free in return..
Two hints as to wat the PM thinks of Kalmadi..the govt has appointed a panel headed by the CAG (and not the easily manipulated CBI) to look into the irregularities at the CWG in less than 20 hours after the cutrains came down on the mega event,& Kalmadi was kept out of the meeting the PM had with the entite Indian delegation even though the sports minister Gill was there..
their are many other players who were responsible for fall out on prparatory schedule of CWg
Media made kalmadi scapegoat , kalmadi was part of organizing committee , also we should remember he was crirtcal in bringing games to india in first place and about corruption , i think to search non corruption is like searching needle in haystack.
so are we saying govt is noncorrupt,cong is non corrupt , political fraternity in all parties are non corrupt, weel then thats joke for me. so rather than make kalmadi a favourite bashing point, just try being right ourself

Very true. Media has gone mad against kalmadi. Let the committee decide whether he is guilty or not. Now a days media is trying to take full control of every thing on sports, politics without having complete knowledge of the same.
Very good observation Mr. Ganesh! He should have resigned when he was ignored in an emergency meeting held by the PM to salvage the CWG or should have quit immediately after the curtain was drawn! However, he should not be let off hook against all allegations related to CWG misappropriation of funds & if found guilty, he should be hanged as he himself has vociferously hinted! What it really hurts a true Indian is that he doesn't have any regrets till date for hurting India's pride pre CWG.

It is not FAUX PAUS it is sheer arrogance or sheer inefficiency. In either case he does not deserve to be there even for a day.

They never sack or punish him.....in fact Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh propose his name of for Bharath Ratna !!! That is Congress !!!

Hi is from Congress no chance of his dismissal He will remain on the committee and will plan Olympics so that he will earn some more crores
Ability to give result and ability to achieve is big thing. there are people who does curruption and dont give result or performance. and there are people who does any thing and give best result. OC or Kalmadi has given result.... any charge on him or them is matter of probe. today what ever we are enjoying is just a big success and gr8 achievement we have to accept them. to maintain dignity, govermment should curtail currupted people and throw out of the system, if PM is realy sincere... but not adviceable to talk in public for OC or kalmadi always.... we, the people are not in politics.....we should not react but we should act and attack..! throw all currupted politician out from system....think beyond party line.....
