I think we are being too much critical about Kalmadi. It was perhaps the best CWG ever held. Agree there were lapses prior to it,but that is how every thing in India works. For me he has made India proud and i don't think he is even afraid of a judicial probe. Well done to all the people who has made this a grand success.

By the past standards in other host countries, these preparations should have been ready six month prior to the games & should have been open for practice to our participants. (Chinese are ready for November Asiad Games before we were ready for CWG games) In that case we could have achieved more success.
"management" is the criteria. But our people were more buisy in managing siphons to the available funds. They overlooked the timings.

ganesh nadar, not sure how much he got in kickbacks..by selectively targeting kalmadi and omitting the gandhis, this article is trying to portray a single person as the villian and his high command no way in the picture..paid articles is the new dirty trick by the congress every time the gandhis get into scandals..if kalmadi is to be blamed for he is the IOC chairman, then who was behind is appointment?
These politician will continously loot public money will b indulged in scams & will get away easily..but Mango Pepople even if crosses traffic line once signal is on, not wearing helmet will be punished ! Wat a Democracy - GOD BLESS INDIA

problem is we are all lamenting but not talking action to put this robbery to end. we are the ones who fuel their courage to loot by our inaction. Why cant we move Supreme Court and ask Congress to reveal Swiss bank a/c holders names?
Ask CAG to audit the books immediately. Any unjustfiably high expense must be recovered from the concerned person's kitty. Contractors must be penalised for any substandard job. Emergency repairs / maitenance expenses must be recovered from the contractors' bills. Financial descrepancies must be brought to lime light by CAG teams. We are a developing nation reaching to Superpower status & we can not afford such lapses in future.
