Mr gill this is shameful that our team lose against england in qualifier what a disaster gill sahab mujhe lagta hein kee ap resign ho to behtar rahega indian hockey ke liye.Abhee apkee itnee umar ho gayee ke indian hockey ko bachana asan hoga.
hockey is a power sports whras cricket is a sluggish sports..
hockey is 10 times competive than cricket. thats why qualiying for hockey world cup is equivalent to win cricket world cup.
hockey is an olympic sports
hockey is our national game. we dont need to protect only our national animal but national game too. we r investing crores in saving nat animal why not even the 10% of it is invested in national game? why not 10% of media n public support to national game..
There is no need to lose hope. Indian hockey can only be better from here. Though Chak De is a fiction, but there are valuable learnings to beat the odds. A sense of responsibility and pride for India colours should do the difference. The change India brought up in world cup cricket debacle to beat Australia in Australia sounds like a fairy tale. A committed set of players can make the difference to the team. The administrator or coach can do a little if players do not perform. Every single soldier of Indian army is committed to the nation. Country's honour comes first. They die for India inspite of paltry pay or gruelling living conditions of inhospitable terrains. A few ordinary players can bring in extraordinary results. Perform, deliver and expect rewards. No past glory, no future potential. It is that 70 minutes where the results are required. Play for pride.

So true. Will save taxpayers' money. We may also save ourselves the embarassment when our players are caught using illegal drugs.
In the hockey games against GB, 4 Indian players got yellow cards. I think Indians were trying to win by killing their opponent. What a shame.
