Banarasi is absolutely right. Very recent example: Look at the case of Monika Devi, it was more to do with zonal politics and favouritism than doping

Amreeka ki citizenship le ley ... Olympics main entry aasaani se mil jayegi ager India team k saath Olympics main bheejna hai toh Neta loogo se link bana le... tennis ya boxing aani jaroori nahi hai LOL
Its really a good achievement from the Indians in Olympics. Its the best ever combined effort from Indians in Olympics. At the same time it shows the lack in our infrastructure, facilities and basic mindset. People do not encourage their children to play for the fear of losing the future. So the guys who are really poor (Indian boxers) or really rich (shooters Abhinave) only getting involved in sports and come up against the best in the world. Meantime dont forget the brave guy Akhil who pleaded not to forget him. Now every one will shower money on the winners and forget about the losers. I think Akhil should commend richest attention. To win many prizes gov. should increase the infrastructures for sports in schools and give some financial support who spend most of their lives for being a sports person. All the participants of India are the best in the country. Dont blame the losers (Anju and others). In their respective they are proven players and the best in the country. Kudos to all the sports persons who represent India in olympics.

Very well said. Its the begining of new era of sports. Rather than blaming the infrastructure and facilities, Generations coming up should encourage their children's and train them world class.

With a huge population, is it less to hope for 20-30 Golds like China or USA. It's tough but India has the talent
