How medal is assured?
by akshay kottur on Aug 21, 2008 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

Vijender is in semi final. If he looses ite touch wood, he will fight with looser of second semi finalist. His will get medal (bronze) only if he wins this match. So how do we say from right now that medal is assured. Can anyone explain?

don't put much brain. If whole country is saying then have some assurance that they have applied some brain.
instead of being so fierce in asking the explanation just ask with politeness.
By the way . get lost. no one wants to answer you rude fellow

China - Top class facilities
India - Facilities are very poor

China - Approx. 600 Entries
India - 57 Entries

China - More sports and Less Politics
India - More Politics and Less sports

China - You can start your training at 5 years
India - We are having Human rights people (Example Budhiya)

If medals were related to facilities, entries, politics etc, the countries like ethiopia and zimbabwe should have been behind us and a country like sweden far ahead of us.

However, the problem seem to lie elsewhere - the passion to excell, persevarance and hard work.

Unfortunately in our country we also have plenty of distractions that help athletes in loosing their focus. Cenemas, leisure activities, modeling, short cuts to fame and money etc etc

let us take responsibility for our own actions..,

How about this
China: communist
India : Democratic
China: will make you wear diapers while performing olympic opening ceremony treating you like dogs
India: Respect human values
China: Invest Billion of Dollars in training for getting olympic medal
India : So what if we dont get medals.
China : Politics( man,you gotta come and see here ,if you are not submissive to your boss, you are thrown to dogs)
India: yes we can survive.
Dont always look the greener side of the field,he.Be blessed that we are in India

Dear Reddy,

What is important is success if you are not successful then every one will kick your a** and if you are then every one will lick same...

China is successful and we are a disaster ... we are feeling happy to get few medals because we were not expecting one... while other countries are still hungry for more...

Now a days Sports gives a lot moral boost to a nation if they did well...

we are habitual in living in S**t and shamelessly justifying it...

its time to come out from comfort zone and match the world...
