next thing you know, idiot pappu will jump and accuse the PM of wrong doing in SC appointments
(just like he did in case of the 3 judges who staged that drama some time ago).

Some desperate attempt to malign the government
by auryas on Feb 21, 2018 02:35 PM

It is a tragedy that we allow this type of media to flourish in India. Misinformation, Propaganda and Fabricated news.

The person must be an idiot to not to know that interference in the inner workings of the Apex court is a cognizable offence.

The media which propagates such misinformation too is open to censure by the courts for acting in a manner as to belittle the integrity of the judiciary.

demoncracy, federal structure and constitution is in danger
by abhijit dutta on Feb 21, 2018 01:11 PM  | Hide replies

yesterday chief secy of Delhi was beaten by AAP MLAs. But still demoncracy, federal structure and constitution was not in danger. No judges, no luminaries came out or even say a word in protest. Had it been the ruling party in centre, the same brigade would have jumped out to protest in whole countrey and perhaps even abroad, sayin 'demoncracy, federal structure and constitution is in danger'. Such are these peegs.

the mentally challenged communal and corrupt Pappu-Communist followers do not have any guts, they throw empty charges. Nor do they have any intelligence to really dig out some real proof...becuase there is no proof at all. The fellow died in another judge's home of heart attach...as simple as that.

Supreme Court Judge Appointment
by Dadhi Baman Dash on Feb 21, 2018 12:47 PM

Keral Bar Association resolution is uncalled for. It is interference in Govt Function. Let each agency do the job assigned to them, rather properly.

Apppointment of Judges
by K Bhaskaran on Feb 21, 2018 12:42 PM  | Hide replies

Why should there be any delay if all proper clearances have been made by the Supreme Court Collegium. Is the Government bent upon interfering in Judges' appointments too? The procedures are as per the established and time tested rules, politicians should not interfere in Judges selections and appointments.

No one should be given an absolute power to select the judges be it collegium of Supreme court or the government. Every one should have equal representation in this process of selection of judges and it should not be left to the senior most four judges of the Supreme court only .

You c-l-ow-ns always see something fishy where you guys arent involved. But where you are involved, you see nothing wrong. Why don't you show the same concern when RSS workers are being killed daily in your own state Kerala. Show some consistency.

Law ministry has been given the task of appointing only pliable judges everywhere !

Filling up vacancies is hardly a priority !

Forgetting about religion or community etc. - The collegium recommended judge is eligible and further it is stated that this judge is reported to be Honesty, Integrity, knowledge in Law and Independent discharge of the judicial functions. Under this circumstances, the reason for delay is doubtful.
As per todays news it seems that Enforcement Directorate department is working depleted staff strength below 50% of requisite/permissible staff.
This is the problem all the time prevails whichever the govt rules.
