Mr. Krishnan, do you feel that any law should violate the basic human rights? If the complaint is found right after investigations, arrest the defaulter. No law in world can allow the arrest of a person without any substantial ground.
A complaint by a person is not adequate to take this extreme step.

Supreme Court has removed non democratic, caste based evil, why so much hue and cry, We all oppose any move to restore status quo prior to this decision.
This will create not only fear in many but also against all humanity and hate spreading.

Is this IAS willing to sacrifice...?
by MS Vasan on Apr 10, 2018 11:22 AM

I am sure many SC people benefitted from reservation and continue to use it to benefit their family members only once they come up like this author...
Why not the author fight for reservation for SC/ST for one generation only so that million other SC/ST can benefit from the reservation.
The reservation policy is cornered by select few and not allowed for the really poor for whom it is reserved.

You people (Rediff) make controversy over all the issues. Now you have crossed the limit and dared to criticize the Supreme Court of India? If you have the freedom of expression then I have also the same. You people are 100% responsible to create unrest in the country by writing such type of articles. The press must be punished in public for such crime.

The author is an IAS and he asks supreme court to hear 300 million SC/STs. I shudder to think people of such caliber being IAS and administering this country. No wonder India is in such Shi**y state with IAS officers of such caliber..

SC Verdict on Sc/ST Act.
by Somanath Tripathy on Apr 10, 2018 10:59 AM  | Hide replies

I have gone through the entire discussion by Mr. Krishnan. But is he clarified why such act are there to arrest any Officer of just a complain of SC/ST. Is he agree to provide reservation on the basis of Cast? if so why? Why not it on economic basis? Why reservation giving in jobs/promotion on cast basis? Reservation becaome a psychology of a group, real pooer of SC/ST are nt getting any benifits. The verdict of SC is a welcome stand, If the reservation continue the most worst day in our society will be imminent. Group clash social unrest
will b the alternative result of this cast base reservation. Facilitate to poor people is our duty but this doesn't means deprive the rights of other i.e the general cast.
