Every person has constitutional rights...equality before the law n equal protection .of law.... no person should be arrested without investigation in any case...now a days false allegations misuse of law have become common ....to take revenge n harass the people...
once the waste land distributed to the poor or labors that is Dalits, they will also become owners or even you can call them today's formers and then rich people in the villages have to face this problem of "who will sew their shoes, chappals" who will dig the graveyard for their burial', who will beat drums while procession', who will carry the dead bodies of animals or any stuff that they can not carry themselves', who will work in their fields for crops', who will look after all their needs as a labor? they can hardly tolerate poor children sitting next to their child in the school, and hardly tolerate poor becoming IAS officers or doctors, engineers.
In a population of 65 crore Woman if few thousands are raped can we call rape a crime? If yes than 1 in 10 Case of misuse of sc/st Law is a crime of unpardonable type.
after 70 years till now if we tell our citizen for st, cst, and dalit it is not braking our unity and making a separation among citizen ? how long it will going on ? for time being it was right but now time has come to think to give benefit and reservation for the basic of their financial back ground and poorness . actual today totally sc, cst, dalit, patidar, jadav it onl for politics and media and news paper also not campaign against it.
Few comments: The author says SC has decided over 1 case. It is not 1 case. This one case has reached SC. What about thousands of cases where people suffer but cannot go to SC. Every Govt/PSU company, you will find tens of such cases. 2. Author says SC should have heard 30 mn SC/ST. So the law should be based on numbers, or whether it should be based on Constitution. Anyway, if number is to be counted then, 100 mn indians are against this law. Get a referendum done, and remove this act.
