On the eve of the election on 14th May 2014 Prof Amartya Sen went on national television to declare Modi unfit for election and his vote. This is an attempt by a nobel laureate to influence the election of NaMo. For not understanding anything in Politics and a self proclaimed Economic Guru he is exceedingly Publicity savvy. So he gets thrown out of Nalanda UNiv and teaches in Harvard but does not stop criticising NaMo and gets the boot often
This is true in India the 'hard work is more precise than the Harvard'.But the place where Modi put his comment is not at all appropriate and as well as not expected from him as he is very much aware about the contribution of such great Indian scholars. My request to PM don't compare himself Trump like president.

Is Amratya Sen conduct is approprite. He is BJP better ever since he cane to iNdia and tried tio give unsolicited comments. Moment he indulges in politics, he should be ready to accept criticism. When he won Noble and came back to India UPA with two great economists, Manmohan and P chidambaram and RBI Gov. Then what use was made of Mr. Amarty Sen by UPA AND WHAT IS HIS CONTRIBUTION SUGGESTIONS IMPLEMENTED. BU UPA. WHY IS HE EVRY NOW AND THEN TRY TO INDULGE IN THROWING BRICK BATS ON THE MODI/BJP/HINDUS .

Yes, he fooled a lot of dumb U.Pites, the same way the Congress, the SP and the BSP had been fooling them earlier !
Two things don't ever change in U.P and many other states in India. One, a large majority of the commoners remain dumb and ignorant. Two, they get ripped off of the taxes they pay and the public and natural resources they are supposed to benefit from in a sustainable and equitable way get plundered by croxny capitalists who then pay the political parties to run expensive (SP, BSP, Congress) or extremely expensive (BJP) election campaigns !

is chai wala business so sin what is wrong . be polite be sensible in putting your points
What about Harvard inviting Laluji when he was railway minister. He was projected as a person making railway profit making. In tact he was playing with numbers only. He was giving doles at the cost modernization and infrastructure investment in railway. In fact most of the academicians and particulary economists are politically biased. They criticize when something does not fit into their world view. But if you criticize them it will be labelled trolling. Prof. Sen supported highly useless economic policies of UPA govt while criticized Vajpayee govt. despite the fact that he was following a sound economics.
