Come to india and be a change!
by shyamprasad acharya on Mar 10, 2017 04:46 PM

Dear prateek its easy to praise your harward experience and how better business leader you would turnout to be once you are out of harward. i am sure you would be picked up by best of american companies and you will be rich PIO. Thats it. what did you do to your country. the point PM is making is that there are 100 experts in this media age to brag their achievements and their theories but when you ask them to be the change, they will escape. if one person does something they will criticise him that he could have done something else. this is called experts without responsibilities. if you come back to india and serve your nation instead of SAM, we will listen to you

Harvard is not just Amartya Sen
by vijay dani on Mar 10, 2017 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Mr.Writer, PM very well knows that Harvard is not just Amartya Sen. Pm's critics like Mr.A.Sen & his followers have always tried to question PM's knowledge & education comparatively with Harvard passed Mr.A.Sen. Therefore, it was PM's turn to rebut these intellectuals on the basis of latest GDP figures. It is PM's maturity that he did not name Mr.Sen. By naming Harvard, he meant Mr.Sen and his followers only. Mr.A.Sen is a supporter of Left and is deadly against Mr.Modi. His criticism of Mr.Modi is more political than economic point of view. Hence there is nothing wrong in Mr.Modi's comment. Other students and faculties should not take it an attack on themselves.

How do you know it is political? Did you ever try to check the basis and logic or his arguments? Or just because he is Modi, he cannot be wrong?

Mr.Prateek and Dr.Sen

Mr.Prateek :please do what you preach! Tell also to others, like Dr.Sen to do what they preach!.
Every nobel laureate is not necessarily an able economist in practical terms .Then Dr.ManMohan singh would have fared well as India's PM.Dr.Sen has been against Mr.Modi before becoming PM for no fault of his.
Learn to perform rather than to preach!

WHY HARVARD AND A/SEN SILENT ON TRUMP'S PROTECTIONISM ?
by damodaran mohan on Mar 10, 2017 03:13 PM

Why Harvard is not talking about Trump's protectionist policies of the world's No1 capitalist country U.S. believing in market economy and all that stuff? Even Amartya Sen has not criticized Trump over his this although he is quick to get at Modi on Demon.

Mr. Prateek Kanwal, you complete your too much touted harward study but no job there as long as Trump is President. Rememeber. How much you try to appease them. Days are changed. Formal education is over. No value now. It is just repeating & repeating but no way out, until you make your own way.

Dear Prateek, We all respect Dr Amartya Sen for his outstanding work, but Dr. Sen cooperate with Govt in India only when A party is in power. Otherwise, Dr Sen criticize the policies of other Govt, Instead of giving alternative ideas to other Govt.

Why Harvard or Amartya Sen can not predict recession was coming in 2008. Harvard gone hay wired
Amartya Sen only likes his friend Sadar MMS. Whenever MMS was PM, Amartya Sen had given him 10 out of 10.
He never criticized when there was anarchy all over India. Now, his intention is clear. He has developed personal enmity with Modi & trying to barb him in every occasion. So, it was natural for Modi to react. He is a congress man.
