Why is rediff full of anti-modi articles? Never seen an anti-Rahul/ anti Sonia article.

Anybody criticizing the action is having a basic flaw in his thinking process. Harvard may also have some lowly minds within its premises. This person is without any substance and trying to seek public attention. He and his ilk need be ignored.

About jibes and trolling.
by Aniruddha Haikerwal on Mar 10, 2017 05:24 PM

Feel sorry for intellectuals like you. Modi's immature behavior won't allow you to come back. Trump's proclaimed policy may not allow you to stay back. Amartya Sen and Harvard are big names but governing India is not a mean business.Anybody entrusted with this task has to take criticism and some expect that the one having the mandate should take it in stride. Any reaction to explain the stand, is taken unkindly.

Some economists always criticises modiji without any reason some time on intollerence, communal, about GDP of the country whereas these marons shut their mouth in congress regime. It is immaterial them whether they loot the country and deposit in italy. Modi is a strong man always against these type of functioning the country

Lack of understanding
by Sriram Veeraraghavan on Mar 10, 2017 05:07 PM

Firstly, the guy has not even mentioned what he is doing at Harvard and one cant even evaluate if he is fit to comment on these subjects. Even sweepers work for 16 hours in some places. Secondly he talks about CSO spicing up numbers and the changes to GDP calculations. GDP calculation has changed to market prices from factor cost as is done globally and anyway the growth this year is a comparison over the previous year and the base is same for both. So the change in base has no effect on the growth this year. Thirdly, the guy has not even understood that Harvard was used as a 'figure of speech' and not as a specific example and this guy has not even understood that. Which is why my doubt is about what he is doing at Harvard and I would like to repeat that even sweepers work for 16 hours in some places!

Unfortunate!
by Story editor on Mar 10, 2017 05:07 PM

Everyone including Harvard professors and Nobel laureates are wrong and anti national, whoever speaks against Modi or the government policies, but only Modi is right with absolutely nothing to show yet on the ground yet(he maybe trying).

But braindead folks would still cry hoarse immediately someone remotely says his policies are wrong, many of which are, precisely the reason we are a third world nation.

Harvard is not 500 year old.
by Deepak B Dongre on Mar 10, 2017 04:47 PM

As you mentioned, Harvard is not 500 year old. You should know that, being a part of the univ.
Nor the USA is 500 year old.
