What do these clowns do for "our Country" after going and having there so called Grad or P.G. from so called Harvard University...... Let them stop that crap and "START LOOKING" seriously giving something for this Great country INDIA.If they can't and want to "LICK" the boot of some other country by living there and increasing that countries prosperity they should Immd. stop that CRAP !!!!

Who is this Buffon to talk about figures inflated etc.... How many Harvard university students don't we see in our day-t-day affairs..

Prathik Beta, Study well.... Make sure U focus on studies and not on politics even if you are a congressman OR want to follow AMUL BABY-RAHUL Gandhi footsteps......

Pity Rediff does not know what a rhetoric is...
by MS Vasan on Mar 10, 2017 02:07 PM

The media wants to make a mountain out of molehill...serious analysis of Harvard and trying to prove Harvard has a halo...
Harvard is mentioned by Modi to rhyme with Hardwork as a rhetoric....
Modi meant to refer to people who are cut off from the real India, like Amartya, PC, Sonia, Rahul etc

It used to be a informative site yes we have few silly topics on it but it is part of journalism. But promptly it start act like NDTV and instead of showing NEWS they start Judging the thing and that to Anti Modi mood. So one thing is sure either be unbiased or keep earning money from thrasher party which will be in minority after 11th march. But one thing is sure if red ff would be a political party it surely lost its election fee.

Yes I am also feeling the same, R diff is getting too biased in recent times, they will pick up anything which is against Narendra Modi. and any one who objects to their views are labelled as Trolls. Actually what I find most of the times Journalists are Trolls and general public basically is Troll of trolls. We need a word for that.

majority of REDIFF writers

are still living in their old frame of mind and failed to understand the new positive current of Nation . Mr. Sen was appointed as VC of Nalanda Univerity but failed to do any work for long two years and existed as liability, so he was asked to quit.
It is not the degree which works , it is the person on work , works. He was good for nothing for India.

We are here talking about persons/ individuals. Modi cannot be compared to Amartya Sen. They are altogether in different fields. Therefore, they also cannot be ranked or s3een as better or worse. If these two personalities are to be evaluated in a particular area, say, finance/economy or politics, then the rankings can speak only of that area. For the same reason, one person cannot malign the other.

Some people are always against the Prime Minister on whatever he says. Why to bring Amartya Sen in the controversy? Is Mr. Chidambaram is not teaching in Harvard? Why don't you bring in him? Apart from the Dr. Manmohan Singh, he is responsible for bring down the GDP from 8 per cent to 4 per cent in UPA's tenure. - Vikram Dureja

Any howlers especially by politicians invite criticism - right or wrong !So far we are impressed by the media filled to the brim by Modi, though all it shows or says may not at all be true. Yet it does change election results and nation`s destiny. At the same time, the present moment alone, without history, cannot be a right assessment. Let us hope for the best.
