It's not a life and death problem for the spectators , owners. But it's for the players and the Bulls as described in the article. How does the safe guard against cruelty is documented!! Are we observing the same? What's the merit of statistics of death and the ban given by court!!

I would preffer jallikattu participants face bison istead of bull if they are really want to tame. They are using normal town bread animals making them wild by atrificial means and then tame it ridiculous .Go for 10 wild bison instead of one that's a game

we don't need your valuable advise.!! jallikattu will be practised the way it was done. It has a 5000 year history and valid reason from the view point of the breeding and rural economic cycle. .May be you can start a new tradition/culture to fight with bison for its breeding and its farm economics.

Dont interfere in our culture

Without really knowing the reason of the bull taming sport (jallikattu) no one can oppose it. It has many reasons behind it starting from breeding science, A1 milk production & to safe guard our desi bulls it is really required. But PETA an foreign organization how come they can decide our culture.. Why didn't stop such activities in their country?? This is really politically driven move from the corporate to nullify our diary production..

The entire A1A2 milk is bull shit. There is no scientific evidence on this. If the farmer is forced to breed Indian breeds only, he will end up in penury. By the same token a lot of vegetables like carrot, cabbage and beans are not native to India. So should we not stop eating them

The human-animal link/bond -in indian agrarian scenario is entirely different from the western commercial farming concept. Organizations without knowing this deeper roots are going overboard in opposing traditional practices. Life is always about struggles. every living being on earth undergoes various troubles during its path of survival. that does not mean it shud not be born at all .. as such such cultural practices are already dwindling . let it not become extinct all together . Let it at least survive in minima form with regulations. Great job by the protestors !
