As a Tamil who has watched a number of Jallikattus, I have never known of such instances as described by this animal activist. This seems to be totally preposterous. Bulls are sacred to farmers ...okay, the tractors might have replaced them, but still, to a farmer and his family, bullocks are very sacred animals.

it is easy comment without knowing the subject . When your tradition is banned you will realize (that is if the govt. dare to do ). Usually protest in any other area (outside TN) people are ok with but are agitated when tamils protest (even such protest are very rare ). why so ? you think they have no right to protest ? or is it a dislike for fellow countrymen who speak different language ?

festivals are part of our hindu religion and tradition for 5000 years, we need them. . If you don't like it is your problem. You need not follow it. we will follow it . All living things born on this earth undergo trouble , but sustain it..

Can a woman give birth without torture..? Many things on earth goes thru torture or pain.. That does not mean we dont have them.. Dont compare Jallikattu to Sati, Untouchability etc and emean a culture..
