HOW WE CAN HAVE CLASS PRODUCT IS RAW MATERIAL IS
by markand desai on Sep 05, 2014 11:45 AM  | Hide replies

ROTTEN?
HIGHER EDUCATION ONLY 30%SEATS ARE AVAILABLE TO GENERAL CATEGORY THAT TO WITH A RIDER OTHER RESERVATION CLASS CAN APPLY THERE ALSO.

MBBS AND ENGINEERING GENERAL CLASS STUDENT DO NOT GET ADMISSION EVEN AT 85/87 % BUT RESERVATION CATEGORY GETS AS AS LOW AS 38 40%
WHEN RAW MATERIAL IS ROTTEN HOW TO EXPECT CLASS PRODUCT OF DOCTORS AND ENGINEERS?
THIS IS THE REASON WHILE "EDUCATED" PERSONS ARE "NOT EMPLOYABLE"
FURTHER TRAGEDY IS RESERVATION IN JOBS AND PROMOTIONS IN SUCH CASE WHY ANY MERITOUS STUDENT SHALL SERVE IN INDIA?
THIS LEADS TO BRAIN DRAIN NO WONDER.

I agree with you Markand Desai.
We the people of India need to fight united to abolish Reservation.
Meritorious & financially weak students are suffering & only people of SC/ST,OBS & Minority status gets the benifet.
What a shame? Every Indian irrespective of case or religion should be treated equally.
Come lets fight this Reservation menace

Shame that even after 67 years of independence, we talk SC, ST, backward etc.,etc., who are benefited the children of rich class among these classes, poor-needy-deprived do not get even 10% of seats in their quota. Basic purpose is already defeated from the last 20 years, no correction so far.

Survey methodology
by vipin agarwal on Sep 04, 2014 07:44 PM

Can you also mention the survey methodology - sample survey size, data sources, etc.

Also would have been very helpful if you share deeper statistics: EG - age-wise distribution of scholarships, amount of scholarships received per-person basis, field / area of education for which scholarship were given, what level of education was scholarship given for (eg undergrad, post-grad, doctorate),

These would make your research much more credible , in my opinion.

for the meritorious nation.

take up your caste's land share and build your own nation with all the merit based mechanism described in Manusmrity. Return all the lands acquired from SC/ST/OBC and they will have their nation based upon the constitution defined by Dr. Ambedkar. There is no need to fight and keep cribbing about it. Anyways, the upper caste have become nothing but parasites on the majority of population. They are robbing the SC/ST/OBCs of their resources and still want more.

One has to take into account primary to tertiary education sector. In fact, kids being wealth of a nation need to be educated free of cost. Nay, tuition and living be free. We have adopted cost based education system and pretending to give scholarships to meritorious students. Who are these? Those mostly come from rich families and spend lakhs of Rs for education, get trained through coaching classes. MOOC- massive online free open course education- has been introduced in US as a social responsibility for hardly 10% students can go to Harvard, but 90% are out who are expected to do better to the nation in a big way. Even today in India, 50-60% students admitted in professional education (hardly 7% of student-population)(that is costly)are funded by States under one or another category like EBC. Drop out rate is high, people from tribal and lower castes are neglected, GER is very poor. Is it right that those who come through GATE to IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc.(high % of them trained through costly coaching classes available in urban cities only), are given high scholarships when thousands are out?

I don't know what the heck you are talking about. The reservation category has never had it better in India. I remember 15 years back (this was even before the OBC category and Muslim reservation now) when I finished my 12th and wrote my entrance exam, I was state rank 784 in engineering, but still I did not get a merit seat because cut off was 500 or something, a friend of mine, quite wealthy family, under reservation got a seat, his rank was 3000 something....At the time my parents could not even afford the cost of the entrance fee, but I somehow made it eventually in a different field with a lot of struggle.

All reservation to be banned
by shailesh singh on Sep 02, 2014 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

It’s the time reservations should only be given on merit basis However very low income people can be supported with fees/concessions on educations in monitory ways only. Cast sisam should be totally banned.

This is the way Srilanka adopted. But few Politicians from Tamilnadu played big role to smash the country.

India is the country where people contribute for it are said as incapable and in other words kids. Now you can imagine the state of this country. They say those guys as teri te maar lani hai.The people who are sitting in media and chanting about right things are even having bad intentions. This country is in very bad shape to be honest. Each and every trajectory and take anything, you will observe improper and misuse of power.People who term this country as good.I am damp sure they have no idea how world is.As far as destroying careers, man they will litterly not think second time specially for the sake of power. This is reality here.Every indian must see abroad and then realize what is the truth.
