i had merit scholarship but was not eligible as my father was in tax bracket then!. what is merit scholarship the. Whole of my education i disd not get/ Later i had kpsc interview and i got 93%. i did not get a job. wat else can a merit student do than go out. Bright students are not encouraged.
What a shame? Any country that ignores merit and encourages mediocrity will never become a developed nation. Giving in to political pressures and supporting the undeserving is not going to help the country.

People flee India and settle in usa UK or Australia as politicians eat money say engineering colleges charge fees full but do not pay even half salary to teachers

THE VERY PURPOSE OF OPENING ENGG / MBA COLLEGE IS TO EARN MONEY FOR POLITICAL NEEDS / we can see many engineers working at jobs -which doesn't require engg degree -like machine operator/ quality inspector etc / work done by commerce graduates is done by M COM / MBA S-- WORK DONE BY 10 PASS persons previously is done by commerce graduates . people are not getting jobs as per their education -- resulting into loss of practical knowledge for persons not working as per qualifications -- due to lack of experience these people rarely get a good job - even though they are very talented - INDIAN ORGANISATIONS AS WELL AS GOVT DOESNT HAVE VALUE FOR HUMAN BEING --
Data suggests only 2 % financially week section received sKsp. But predominant i.e. 95 percent of SC ST population are still financially weak ( who are getting scolsp. ) so completely wrong data and interpretation.

SC AND ST r already getting govt jobs and college admissions even though u are not financially weak .FOR EG A person from SC category gets a job in govt or in SBI and becomes middle class person / now he wants a job and admissions in colleges for his son also even though he is not financially backward and can afford all other costs / but still wants reservations for his sons -- there are a number of SC /ST people who are financially not weak but still want reservations -- this is a cheat to the nations and to the financially weak open category students -- reservations should only be there for financially backward people .No doubt intelligent persons should leave this country and become americans and serve the foreign nations like their own - that's why lots of Indians are migrating out of country -- sacrificing all their hard earned money for their child s future by taking loans .
It has become a trend now that ministers and chief ministers distribute freebies like laptops, bicycles and other costly things to thousands of people (at least on paper) just to gain political mileage and no governments takes record of it. On the other hand, socially and financially backward people don't even get help for basic necessities.
Only following people should be eligible for scholarships: 1) Meritorious students irrespective of their caste, 2) Handicaps, 3) Family members of security personnel and martyrs(defense, policemen and other agencies). Similarly, reservations should only be given to handicaps and family members of servicemen.
There should be a parallel system for upbringing and support of socially and financially backward people so that they don't have to suffer because of their social or financial status, instead of given them reservation in competitive exams.
