Re: Only BJP doesn't want the list to be published

When the List was handed over to the Supreme Court, the Court also declined to make it public, and what is more, did not even open the sealed envelope! Why don't you file a petition in the SC requesting it to reveal the names?
Now that the government has furnished to the SC 627 names of persons alleged to be holding bank accounts in foreign banks its time to top mud slinging by political parties and let us wait for the outcome of SIT constituted by the SC. Any criticism on the issue at any level would not help.

Yesterday the Supreme Court over reacted and criticized the Govt. The usual anti Modi media also made it into a big issue. The Govt has said that the list has already been provided to the SIT which is acting on it. Now the Govt has once again given the list to the Supreme Court which will also sent it the SIT and which already has the list. Just goes to show how the Court can also over react and make comments. The Modi govt is sincere in trying to expose while the Congress was more interested to cover up the whole issue. Today the Media is unusually quite having realized that it is not so easy to expose all the names without unwanted repercussions.

You still don;t answer the question: Why doesn't BJP publish the list? Why they initially objected to SC's request? If they can publish 3 names, why nor the rest if 624 names?

Mr. giveanid your too naive to understand the complexities of the issue.Further you need to be well informed on the subject, of which you clearly have no idea.

GIVEANID, as Paul Rajkumar had said you have not understood the judicial intricacies. The govt only revealed the names of 3 people against whom there is already an enquiry. Business houses who earn foreign exchange can hold current accounts in F.EXC abroad legally, and this will be in their IT returns; so holding an account itself is not illegal and a crime. The govt wanted to check this out first and reveal it to the 'public'. For your info, they revealed it to the SIT investigating the case in june itself. Now that the SC has not revealed the names, please go to the court and ask them to publish them!!!! The whole episode had been because the judges involved 'just played to the galleries'.

Given Aids:
Since you don't seem to be able to read, please be reminded that it is a list of Swiss bank accounts... NOT all black money holders... Which is what Govt already clarified to SC. But SC still wanted the list... Now that they have it, you can very well COMMAND them to open it and publish it... Can do?
Very good move from the Government and the Supreme Court in order to get back our Indian Money from foreign banks. This issue has been discussed from long time, when we will able to get back our money.
How it happened, which BANKS also involved to transfer the money from Indian to Foreign Banks. All these matters to be disclosed by the government for the sake of the nation.

In reality the black money is going to come in the form of taxes and penalties that may be imposed by the IT department. The capital amount will still remain where it is right now.
