North Indian culture is totally different from south indian culture. Actually North India and South India are two different countries. North Indians have major issues with all modern concepts and values like rights of women, rights of kids, rights of citizens, law and order, justice etc etc. We in south cannot live with these people.
Only Solution for safety of cultured women is ban open vulgar pictures by stars, models etc in news media. Restrict movie makers like Bhatts.
That is how women's safety was higher during last generations.
For rest of the present generations, who are proud to follow boy-friend culture, Valentine culture etc. safety is not the important as it is not the responsibility of police to look-after such women. And such kind of so-called modern women, dignity does not mean much.
West bengal was NO 1 in the left regime and now it has come to NO 3.So the people who have been shouting WB is NO 1...had been giving false data til now.It is proved.

Using this 10 pointers government and people will start treating women as ghar ki lakshmi and only then women will be respected. A woman causes nurishment of entire family. Parents, in laws, spose, siblibgs, children. They are indeed ghar ki lakshmi and should be treated as one. The depiction of women as sex object in bollywood has reduced respect of people towards women which needs to be banned. Women need to be given opportunities to gain respect. That will only reduce crime against women.

law and order has got nothing to do with respect for women. even now, we all respect women. then why do r@pes happn ? it is because law and order is very weak. what is the use of teaching karate when 10 men attack a girl ? what is the use of having a gun when your attacker wont give you time to take the gun out ? death penalty will only be misused grossly by politicians and their sons

It is lack of respect that cause of rape. Majority of cases, especially violent ones are more to teach a lesson to women by men who dont want to take no as answer.

But to my surprise the rate of rapes in UP and Bihar (per million women population) as shown in the map is one of the lowest in the country, 3-4 times lesser than Kerla, Andhra and odisha
hindi speaking BIMAROU leads here also. In all notorious statistics, its the hindi speaking bimarou states that lead. then why people want to force hindi on other indians. hindi is just the language of the most backward people of india

Hindi is national language you better respect it Mr BIMAROU!!! Rape has no language. What about the rape of 6 year old in bangalore last week!!! is that Hindi speaking? Another rape of to be Nun on same day in bangalore, Is that Hindi Speaking?? Rape is a crime and it should be seen as crime do not relate it with some religion or language. i think you didnt see the statistic properly. it is rape cases per population. Obviously, UP,Bihar and Bengal have HUGE populations. even if there are 100 rapes everyday, it will still be less as a percentage to the whole population
UP and BIHAR are the autocratic rulers terrtory and many cases may just not get reported as the understanding is : it is right to do any thing with your captive labour.Let us find truth and then discuss.
