Re: PLEASE GIVE BHARAT RATNA TO TIPPU AS WELL..

The likes of you want to give awards to Osam bin laden too.
Historian Hayavadana C. Rao wrote about Tippu in his encyclopaedic work on the History of Mysore. He asserted that Tippu's "religious fanaticism and the excesses committed in the name of religion, both in Mysore and in the provinces, stand condemned for all time. His bigotry, indeed, was so great that it precluded all ideas of toleration".
Now f00ls want to honor a man who was as bigoted as Aurengjeb. He did n't fight for India but for saving his own kingdom.

It pays for Congress party to celebrate Tipu Sultan to garner its Islamic vote base.

The Karnataka Govt decision to celebrate Tipu birthday is a welcome move. He was a secular King. He went beyond Karnataka, he had his mint at Satyamangalam, forts in a few places in TN and Kerala like Namakkal, Sankagiri , Dindukal, Sultan Batthery etc. Historians twisted him also Kattabomman of Panchalankurichi as looters and burglers. These great men who fought for freedom should be honoured and their history should be included in the school syllabus.

He didn't fight for Indian freedom - he wasn't creating a parliamentary democracy. He fought to save his kingdom and was as bigoted a man as Aurengjeb. Get it right.
He was pretty brutal to non-islamic people and is a hero in the Pakistan (they even have a frigate named for him!). Congressi f000ls just want vote.
There are people moosseee clerics who are defending taliban's attack, so defending Tipu and similar ev_il entities is all part of being a moooozzeeeee!
It is most unfortunate most of the Indian political leaders before and after 1947 have been taking shelter of minority-majority/Hindu-Muslim issues for the reasons best known to them, but certainly such an approach is not secular, nor humanistic, not nation making but but playing with the masses-mind for leaders' ulterior motives, to be in power. Tipu. Nizam, Marathas and many other small kings ruled the country as they thought fit that time. Lord Clive reported to the East India Co. then that till Madhavrao Peshawa is alive, Brits need not dream ruling India. No doubt, Hyder Ali, Tipu Sultan, Hyderabad Nizam and Marathas fought among them as per the rule of the day. But when it came to fight against Brits, history shows they were united in initial stages, because of their wisdom that was shattered to pieces by Brits strategies after the untimely death of Madhavrao in 1772 or so, at the age of hardly 28 years. In fact, Tipu was not only a tiger fighter but a statesman with ties with Nepolian and others, the first king to use rockets in wars, etc. It was essential such a Tiger be eliminated and Brits took the advantage of our mentality, self-vested interests. And today we are in the same sinking boat. Bad luck! India is having a new Govt. at the Centre, let us trust them, allow them to function, and public will decide their fate. Will it not be true democracy? Remember we are in the 21st Century but living in medieval ages. Our future generations will cry in our names!

Typical ch_-t_tya dhimmi or moozee using Heeendoo ID. Tipu massacred Hi_ndu civilians who refused to become bu_t_tlifer. And you think his and father's murderous wasy should be overlooked. They fought British to defend their wealth and kingdom Mo_o_ro_n.
