Why is Congress trying to pick a person from history far beyond the Independence Struggle?
Ever since Modi has appropriated Patel from Congress it seems to have lost its nerve and trying to pickup someone who has a dubious record on religious freedom...
There is nothing patriotic about Tipu's struggle against East India Company. It was by then the fastest growing power in Deccan and any king who wanted to preserve his autonomy had to fight them...
If you just look around everyone at the time was fighting East India Company, be it Marathas, Nijam of Hydrabad or anyone else...
Kingdom of Tipu was a Muslim kingdom no different than that of Aurangzeb except in its geographic spread...
Had he been around during 1947 probably would have joined hands with Nijam to raise Razakar forces...

congress has not learnt its lessons ... more is in stock when they lose their deposits everywhere....in the last 10 yrs of UPA rule they allowed organized campaign to convert village after village...and now if a handful of those return back to their faith there is huge uproar and whole media going tizzy ....i mean there is no justice in this world thanks to these Semitic religions
I am from Malabar area of Kerala and had heard from my parents of the atrocities carried out on refusing Hindus by Tipu and his men during Malabar riots. Later, these riots were painted as Freedom struggle and the people involved were granted Pension for those deeds. Were very sad to see this political betrayals.
Tipu Sultan was grear Warrior and he fight with britishers where and what RSS did fight with britishers , no where , always they r doing dirty politics

nothing against indian muslims ..but facts cannot be denied about Tipu.
......if britishers had not attacked and defeated the Tyrant jihadi Tipu , .....entire karnataka would have been a muslim majority failed state with jihadis doing bomb blasts every other day like pukistan.............and Siddharamaiah would now be wearing topi and named Samiullah and saluting saudi as their slave.
Indeed Tipu death day should be celebrated as Tipu vadh Divas

he fought with british because he wanted more landss and british stopped it... he is warrior because he belongs to ur religion....

@Shahnawaz Ali. he might have been a great warrior. but his sword is soaked in the blood of thousands of hindus. religious persecution was common for him. so by no means he could be considered secular. That is what we are objecting about. I not from BJP or RSS but i condemn this act of congress party. he was not a noble man he killed and ordered killing and forced conversion of millions of hindus/Christians. And if you are secular, you should also support our cause. I am ok with name of any person who tried to bridge the gap between people from different religion, but I oppose fanatic people irrespective of religion and you should also do the same if you are a true indian. and when you mention RSS please do not forget to mention Owaisi and his party as well...
they are so thoroughly brainwashed that they dont see the truth anymore... until some day they get a rude surprise.
our guy who joined ISIS and came back tells us how he was treated...cause they feel indians are not original stock and dont have strength to fight unlike them ....that is what pakis also tell when they trains our IM guys ...they often make fun and our guys are kept away in separate tents.
this is what you get when you blindly believe what they tell you ...

the original stock are not fanatical ...but these new recruits and converts always are so vocal about their new found identity that they are ready to play foot soldiers to their masters...
it is hard to put logic into charged up brains...and that is exactly what church needs...foot soldiers

@Kirpan.. I do not fully agree with you as well. there are good and bad people in every religion but what is wrong should be considered wrong. SO, tipu was a fanatic and should be considered as fanatic by all sane people, Congress claims to be secular but the masses of the nation have now realized the fake pseudo-secularism of the party. They are putting-up nails in their own coffins by doing such cheap acts..

i tell u ...you should not be so open minded in all matters... when other religions dont find anyone wrong in their faith why should we be so forthcoming ...there is a flaw anubhav... there is an orgnized campaign going on in india and we cannot take on this by giving justice..always...to protect dharma is ultimate goal...means are immaterial...go to mahabharat and you will get right examples

so much ..i even saw when i was in west that ...middle eastern guys dont even allow our folks to offer prayers with them ...they used to be aloof and consider our people are not original ....but our fellows stillplay foot soldiers
