Degree of Seriousness.
by ojama on Aug 29, 2014 11:34 AM

The yard stick for measurement of Seriousness of the charges should be based on the number of cases registered and the Quantum of jail term, if convicted.

A) If charges registered are 3 and more than that, the minister should be asked to step down, even if conviction is pending.

B) If the quantum of Jail term is 2 years and more than that the minister should be asked to quit.

C) For those categories which are out of the above mentioned purview, may continue to hold their office at the sole discretion of the PM or CM as the case may be.

Politician's normal actions in course of their duty are classified as criminal acts. Shame on Indian legal system. We need to reform and make these acts as normal when carried out for PUBLIC GOOD(!?)

Absolutely! I completely agree.

If this yardstick is used, it is possible to make out cases on almost every Minister and have no one left to be made Ministers. Media should be fair, not stupid.

Ministers in cabinet are public representatives. They act in Gandhian way of satyagreh meaning request for truth. If they are booked for it, its is wrong done by police in retaliation. No Criminal offence. So no action required.

Politicians With Criminal Background
by DrColNB Singh on Aug 29, 2014 09:44 AM

Only 10% of all politicians, who have been charge sheeted really have criminal background.
Root cause of this malaise is delay in judicial process due to never ending adjournments.
There should be not be more than three adjournments allowed to either accused or prosecution.Reasons for adjournments to be explained & put on court website
Courts should function like hospitals ie 24x7. No long vacations

The minions at Rediff have been paid well. They are trying to covince us that BJP ministers are just a little naughty. They do no stealing, no bribes, no money from the mining mafia, no wrongs. Swine.

ur biggest problem is the fact that we as a group failed to observer the very instant when the manufacturing units have become deprecated the sanctity of the quota. That is fine but the real issue comes into the surface when people start asking things which could have been the aura of the century quite sometime back and never really paid the attention that it really deserved.

Verily we must come together and fight this out and also make sure we are separate when dealing with issues like this.
